Set 1.5 km from the town of Koli, Kolin Lotus Cottages are located close to Lake Pielinen. These self-catering, semi-detached cottages have a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. In my 35 years of travel history, never have I ever come across such a super, fantastic and humane host - extremely helpful, always available, going out of his way to ensure the guests’ comfort, extremely informative (better than google and chat gpt) AND refuses to accept any gift or reward (monetary or anything)! Tino - you are the BEST! Thank you for the magical island boat ride - it was paradise!!! And if it were not for you, I would have totally missed seeing Koli’s best aerial view - Räsävaara Observation Tower!!! The best sunset and island views ever !!! Set in Kolinkylä, within 5.7 km of Koli National Park, Kolin Lotus Superior offers accommodation with air conditioning. Great view, well cleaned and everything worked well. The contact person was easy to reach. It was super nice to swim in the lake after sauna. The pictures give a real picture of the house, extra plus for that.

The view, the wooden sauna, the grill area, and the surrounding area. Koli National Park is a beautiful place to visit but for me, the view from the cottage was even better than the ones from the famous viewpoints in Koli. You have an inmense piece of land for yourself with direct access to a clean, clear, and calm Finnish lake. The real Finnish experience doesn't get any better than this. I hope I can come back to this place in the future. I can highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit this part of Finland.

Located in Kolinkylä, within 4.3 km of Koli National Park, Paimentupa Rantamökki offers accommodation with air conditioning. The property is a luxury-with running water, a sauna, a kitchen with cooking and dining equipments, a TV, a radio, a microwave, fishing gears (which we borrowed from the host), fishing net, a boat, bbq facilities, a Finnish dart, a terrace and outdoor table for dining, and the most is the amazing view from the property. The location is not far from Koli National park and you can also book a horseback riding from them (if you wish, too- they have icelandic horses!). The property is ideal for anyone (solo traveler, couple, family, and friends) who would like to visit Koli. Also, the hosts are very friendly and very attentive.
