Furthermore you can do day trips to Nîmes, Arles, Montpellier or Avignon in less than 1 hour. We recommend "La Maison Arthur" if you want to feel a little bit like home.

(In fact, we miss it having moved to another area in France.) The grill, patio area, comfortable beds, rain shower, private parking spot, air conditioning, proximity to the beach, and fully stocked kitchen. Our hostess was a delightful person as well.

You are very close (5 min walk) to Boucanet Beach which is very beautiful, golden sand, and relatively quiet. On the way to the beach is a small shop. Directly on the other side of the property is a nature reserve where you can make a nice walk, particularly once you cross the road that cuts through it. Le Espiguette is the star beach of the region in my view, there is a naturist part you may find attractive if you are into that. For good coffee and healthy food, I recommend Alma in La Grande Motte. The house is very comfortable, we particularly enjoyed the deck which has sliding doors on either side. The house has two bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom, toilet and living room downstairs, which is very handy if you and your company have different rythms. There is even a fence on top of the stairs, keeping your small kids safe.

Alain gave us a really good welcome on arrival and showed us how everything worked . We only stayed for one night but it was perfect for our stay and good value.
