Boasting a garden and views of garden, Unbox at Poplar Tree is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Durham, 14 km from Lumley Castle. The location it's great,very quiet, we saw hares, a fox and lots of birds, even a Robin The host was very very friendly, explained everything in detail, he even was waiting for us with a boiled kettle, fresh flowers around the lodge.The lodge it's equipped with everything you need!!Spotless clean!!

If you want unique, this is for you. Surprised my husband with a trip to Locomotion and then a stay here with all the wonderful railway touches. Wonderful little deck to watch the rabbits, horses and sunset in the surrounding beautiful countryside. Everything finished nicely inside. Fan provided for cooling down in the heat. Easy to find with owners direction.

Offering garden views, Hidden beauty in peaceful place is an accommodation set in Peterlee, 25 km from Lumley Castle and 32 km from Beamish Museum. Great place for family or small group of friends to stay. Location fantastic for exploring the surrounding area. House was clean , spacious and the the arrival freebies were a real bonus. Would thoroughly recommend this house.

Situated in Tow Law in the Durham region, Large countryside home has a terrace. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge. Erica and Jason were simply wonderful to deal with. Prior to our visit they gave us plenty of information on the property and the local area. Any questions we had were promptly answered. We arrived to a huge Welcome basket choc a block with grocery items. Totally unexpected and it made us feel very special. Erica and Jason obviously have a great deal of pride in what they have to offer and it shows. The house is impeccably clean and has everything needed for a seven day stay. Three spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and heaps of towels. Situated on a busy through road we did not notice any street noise and had great sleeps. Very professionally run and perfect for longer stays. Tow Law is perhaps a little isolated for some but access to Bishop Auckland, Durham and points north is easy and the local scenery is gob smacking. Thank you Erica and Jason for a wonderful stay.

Set 30 km from Lumley Castle, Number 4 offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment was clean and well catered for guests. Bottle of milk, teabags, preserves and 2 small boxes of cereal were left for us which was appreciated. We found the bonus of an Alexa device very helpful!

Bogma Cottages is situated in Durham, 28 km from Beamish Museum, 32 km from Stadium of Light, as well as 36 km from Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. Location was great, not hard to get to. Quiet

Had a warm welcome from the host when we arrived in the evening. We have everything we need in the house, makes us feel like home. The folder in the living room has a lot useful information.
