Also, the apartments live up to their name - they really are in the center of Kalamata where you can find many restaurants and shops. If you come by car you should pay for the parking because it will save you time. It's a private gated parking behind the building. All in all, the city and the apartment itself were a great base for exploring the beautiful Messenia region.
