Galway City Hostel ligt naast het trein- en busstation van Galway en kijkt uit op Eyre Square. The property was in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the main square. It’s very central, you can comfortably walk to all the key points in Galway. The dorms had comfortable layouts and the facilities were always clean. The staff are awesome, trying to get everyone mingling about and helping with tips! The breakfast spread was superb, too!

Located in the heart of the beautiful Westport Quay, Ireland, The Helm is adjacent to Westport House and overlooks the idyllic Westport Harbour. It offers a restaurant and bar with live... Everything was perfect, we rented the apartment with private bathroom, the bathroom on the 1st floor was newly renovated and had everything we needed. Bedrooms were clean and beds comfortable. The kitchen was on the groundfloor and was fully furnished, the sitting room was small but cozy and had a tv with Netflix. The view from the window was great and the neighbourhood is lovely. We were welcomed by The Helm employee and he was very polite and recommended us a few places to see around Westport which was just what we needed. He also booked us in for dinner later that evening and let me tell you - fish and chips at The Helm was great!

Oughterard Homeshare bevindt zich in Killarone, op 26 km van St. Nicholas Collegiate Church en 26 km van stadspark Eyre Square, en biedt accommodatie met voorzieningen zoals gratis WiFi en een tv. We voelden ons welkom en nog een avond met de gastvrouw gesproken die ons tips bleef geven alsof we de eerste gasten waren. Locatie was goed als uitvalsbasis. Dank voor alles. En onze favoriete restaurant Powers Thatch, Bar And Restaurant :)

Basement studio apartment heeft uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een patio, op 19 km van Foxford Woolen Mills Visitor Centre. Such a convenient spot, we were here to visit family for a wedding and this apartment had all we neeeded. There is a bit of garden at the front if you are travelling with dogs, however it is not fenced.

The Snowdrop ligt in Galway, op 42 km van Galway Greyhound Stadium en 43 km van stadspark Eyre Square, en biedt een terras en uitzicht op de tuin. It was so fun staying in the yurt. Really spacious inside and with a lovely deck around it with furniture for relaxing in the sun or shade. Enjoyed the story the host left on how they came to build this special place for others to stay in. We were amazed at how much room there is inside and how well it was set up for comfort. It was well equipped for cooking a meal or just relaxing in the living room playing a game or watching TV. It is really a great place to stay.

Apartment 2 @ Clifden Bay Apartments bevindt zich in Clifden, op 5 km van Alcock & Brown Memorial, 19 km van Kylemore Abbey en 35 km van Maam Cross, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en gratis... Everything! Very clean and tidy. Comfortable. Great space and perfect location. Central to everything.

Easkey Glamping Village ligt op 41 km van Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Lovely cosy stay in a beautiful location, only minutes away from the sea. The cabin had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again.

Teresa's Cottage heeft uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een koffiezetapparaat, op 23 km van stadspark Eyre Square. Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.
