The behaviour of mr sunilkumar was exceptional. He was a very friendly talkative guy. He also runs a restaurant nearby from which v bought brkfst nd lunch. All the food whr yummy and of good quality and is affordable. The flat was also maintained clean with all facility and in a very good location yet peaceful.

The family are so friendly, the breakfast is great and the boat trip was a highlight for us. The room was clean and comfortable. Apart from the activities they can arrange for you (we did the canoe tour and kayaking) they are also super helpful when it comes to recommending things to do in the area. Highly recommend.

Shaan the host was so friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and things to do. On our last night he arranged a chef to cook us fresh seafood from the nearby fishing nets. It was delicious! We really enjoyed our comfortable room and our stay at Seacoast Inn. We even had a kettle and decent size cups, and access to a fridge meant we could buy teabags and milk and make unlimited cups of tea, something I really missed on my travels in India. Breakfast on the roof was lovely too.

We had the most fantastic welcome from hotel owner Naresh including freshly cooked traditional breakfast, unlimited bottles of water and loads of tourism and travel advice. He and his family went the extra mile for us, arranging drivers, train tickets and tuktuks, and his daughters even escorted us to the New Year’s Eve celebrations. Wonderful!

The whole experience was blast! In our opinion the boat we were at was better than many others we saw because it had and open rooftop where you could see this paradise while the breeze refreshes you. We tried new Indian foods, although a bit spicy they were excellent. Staff was amazing and very helpful and they offer you the possibility to do an excursion in a smaller boat to reach the smaller canals for a little extra money. WE LOVED IT!

DOWN TOWN HOLIDAYS is set in Trivandrum, 700 metres from Napier Museum, 4.7 km from Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, and less than 1 km from Kanakakunnu Palace. I arrived at Trivandrum airport at 3 am and I could go directly to the apartment by taxi and meet someone there that opened the apartment for me around 4 am, as I had asked before travelling, which allowed me to rest that night. Nawfal, the manager of the apartments, was super kind and helpful before arriving, answering all my questions, and during my stay, helping me in where to find a place to exchange money and a phone shop to buy and Indian sim card, and even took me on his motorbike to different places when I had problems to get what I needed and wait with me until I got it. Thank you again, Nawfal! The apartment is located on a very quiet street, and I really appreciated the silent atmosphere at night.
