I was traveling as a solo female and felt entirely safe at this property and its surroundings. The host, Shaan, was beyond helpful and available to assist before, during, and after my stay. Wifi was strong enough to stream tv shows. Breakfasts were excellent and prepared with variety daily. Rooms were clean, cool (great a/c!), and bug free.

We spent a wonderful night on the lovely houseboat. It was a very special experience and the hosts were so helpful, they assisted with our airport transfers and made everything easy. The freshly cooked food was perfect, my friend is vegan and they catered beautifully for her. We arrived to a meal, then several hours cruising the backwaters, stopping off at a massage place on the way. They docked in a very quiet area away from other houseboats to sleep, which was great as the others can be quite loud. On the day after they threw in a sunrise canoe trip down the narrow canals of the backwaters for us. I would recommend this company to all!

The area is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, with plenty of scenic spots just a short walk away, and it feels completely safe to wander around and explore. The food is delicious. And of course, Trancy - the sweetest dog and the true heart of the hostel - will happily join you on your walks or curl up for cuddles. All in all, if you’re looking for a stay in Wayanad, don’t bother looking anywhere else :)
