This property is set a short distance from attractions such as Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, St. Francis Church Kochi, and Indo-Portuguese Museum. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and room service for guests. Probably one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had so far. Coming here feels like coming to a home. The owner is just an absolutely incredible person who will make sure you have the best stay depending on your desires and he will be able to help you with pretty much anything! He brought me coffee every morning and was continuously making sure I was having a good time. I was there during my birthday and I couldn’t have felt more taken care of. The owner had bought a beautiful cake and made the other guests come sing for me together with himself and his family, as well as having a birthday dinner at a restaurant together with everyone in the evening. A friend of him who was also staying at the hostel cooked an amazing lunch for us. Can’t even describe how grateful I was for all the celebrations and him being so considerate! The location is great, near the main streets as well as the ferry. Facilities are new and fresh with nice A/C in the rooms. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice kitchen and common area and it has a rooftop where one can do yoga, meditate, dance (there’s a speaker even), or just chill with other people in the couches. The owner also knows all the best tips and tricks around the area, as well as of Kerala, and will be happy to share! He even helped me figure out my continuing travels over the phone after I had left the hostel! Very happy I came here.

It's in a great location near the ferry and near interesting locations in Fort Kochi. The rooms are comfortable and clean. And the owner is generous with advice. We had a lovely stay at The Barracks. We were welcomed by Naresh, the host, on arrival and helped to the apartment with our luggage. The building and interiors are beautiful and we enjoyed watching life on the street from our balcony. The apartment was very clean with comfortable beds (in the bedroom and the sofa bed in the living area). Naresh and his brother were available for assistance when needed but were not intrusive. The homemade breakfast was delivered to our apartment which was delicious. The building is in a good location and we could walk or travel by auto rickshaw very easily to the beach and historical sights of Fort Kochi. We were sad to leave and would like to visit again one day.

Our stay on the houseboat was incredible! The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The organization was flawless, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The boat itself was beautifully maintained, with clean, comfortable rooms and great amenities. The food was a highlight. Authentic Kerala flavors, freshly prepared and delicious. A perfect way to experience the backwaters! Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back.

The location was fantastic—just a short walk from popular sights and well-connected by public transport. We truly felt pampered during our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service.”

We had a two room apartment that was very clean and had a very fun vibe - almost like a bachelor pad. Each room had its own key and opened into a common space that was open to outside and included the small pool and patio area. Our time here was limited, but we really wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy this fun space with our group! The owner was very friendly and helpful. We do not know about the neighborhood as we had no chance to walk around.
