The location was absolutely perfect, close to all the key tourist spots, charming cafes and everything you’d want to explore in the heart of Kochi. But what really made the experience special was the host, Niaz. He’s just incredible. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable. Nothing was ever too much for him: whether it was tips on where to go, help with anything I needed or just making you feel welcome. He’s the kind of host that makes you feel at home even when you’re miles away from yours.

For the price, the room was very good and the toilet/bathroom was very clean. It is possible to wash and dry your clothes, the food is very nice, and the atmosphere is very homely. I needed transportation from the airport at an odd hour. They arranged someone to pick me up which was a nice thing. On the whole, it felt like I was staying at a friend's house. The only thing I would like to mention is that the location is a bit away from public transport. But Uber is readily available. Plus, Bindu can arrange transport for you if you let her know in advance. Honestly, you can't expect more for the price they are offering - to get the same facilities in the city center, you will have to pay triple - I know because I actually took time to look at some of the cheaper places in the city just to get a feel of the options. Personally, I am so happy with the place and with the people that I would stay there even if they move to a different location.

The suites were spacious, with separate living and kitchen areas, vanity room provided for dressing, and a peaceful courtyard area where we enjoyed a few lovely breakfasts. The guesthouse’s great location also allowed us to explore the shops and sights of Fort Kochi on foot. Special mention goes to Naresh, the owner, who is an incredibly kind and compassionate man, even allowing us to stay in a vacant suite for a few hours after check-out when my partner fell ill. His understanding and willingness to accommodate really touched us and made a difference to our trip.
