The minute I entered the house, I felt so welcome. The family made me feel at ease straight away. It was so nice being able to chat with them to get to know more about their lives, which was what I was looking for. They are so attentive and will send you lots of info not only about the great authentic tours they can organise but also recommended places to see around and restaurants. I did the sunrise kayak and that was such a wonderful experience. I decided it quite late and the ferry was leaving 5 minutes later, no problem! A quick call to make the ferry wait and in less than 10 minutes and a very short moto ride away and I was inside and someone from the ferry was there to tell me where to stop. I took the ferry back around 19:00 and the person who did the kayak messaged the hosts to let them know I took the ferry. I felt so well looked after. The place itself is very nice, large room and bathroom and the best is the terrace overlooking the canal where you can see life goes by. The homestay is on the village side with gorgeous rice fields. They encouraged me to walk around and that was great. The breakfast was also delicious. If you want to have an authentic stay, don't hesitate, this lovely family will take care of you.

SeaCoast Inn FortKochi bevindt zich in Fort Kochi, op 7 minuten lopen van Fort Kochi Beach en 400 meter van Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Sea Coast Inn is a real gem. We've been travelling in India for 7 weeks and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the rest of the property was the same. The location is excellent with everything walking distance away. Shaan and his staff were really helpful and ensured our stay was very enjoyable with restaurant recommendations and reservations for the local cultural centre to enjoy traditional dance.

Very clean appartment. Easily accessible to temple. All necessary things were provided by host. Host was very responsive to all our messages and helpful. Would suggest to all my friends and family who prefer for any stay in guruvayur. Worth for money... Will keep visiting whenever I come to guruvayur. Thanks

Chaithritha Ladies Homestay bevindt zich in Trivandrum en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis fietsen, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. I have been staying for 3 weeks already in Bindu's homestay, feeling fully at home and cozy. Bindu is very kind and welcoming and I am really enjoying sharing some time with her and her friends or relatives when they come by. For anything I have needed around the city, I reached out to her son who was always very reactive and helpful. The room is comfortable, the house is clean and surrounded by plants and flowers. The neighborhood is residential and very calm, ideal for resting and walking around (lots of beautiful houses, small streets without traffic). About 20min away from the city center in a rikshaw. A neighbor cooks great food for me daily, and I have been taking classical singing lessons with another neighbor who teaches music. I truly recommend this homestay, especially if you want to immerse yourself in the local culture, language and general vibe.

Comfortable bed, sofa, dining room table and chairs and very clean bathroom with toiletries. The kitchen was very nice and we used it everyday.

The Barracks Cochin is gelegen in Kochi op 12 minuten lopen van Fort Kochi Beach en 300 meter van Kochi-Muziris Biennale. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en een zithoek. We had a lovely stay at The Barracks. We were welcomed by Naresh, the host, on arrival and helped to the apartment with our luggage. The building and interiors are beautiful and we enjoyed watching life on the street from our balcony. The apartment was very clean with comfortable beds (in the bedroom and the sofa bed in the living area). Naresh and his brother were available for assistance when needed but were not intrusive. The homemade breakfast was delivered to our apartment which was delicious. The building is in a good location and we could walk or travel by auto rickshaw very easily to the beach and historical sights of Fort Kochi. We were sad to leave and would like to visit again one day.

Kalappura Houseboats & Tours bevindt zich op minder dan 1 km van tempel Mullakkal Rajarajeswari, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een gedeelde keuken. The cruise was amazing, the food was amazing, overall hospitality was incredible, a special thank you goes out to the chef who cooked the king prawns we brought to perfection, bathrooms were spotless, if you want to do a cruise on the backwaters this is the company to do it with if you don’t you’ll be extremely disappointed, great job guys & well done, loved it
