We got a very nice little house with everything we needed. The view was outstanding and the parking lot was right next the house.

Lovely spaces to relax in and basic kitchen for home dinner with all 6 around the dining table. So good to have the bbq!! Great for the lamb steaks, garlic bread and chargrilled vegetables!!

Skipalaekur Farm Apartments has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Egilsstadir, 32 km from Hengifoss. We stayed here to break up our drive to Myvatn. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the apartment/room. The pictures made it appear much smaller. The kitchen facilities were great (we cooked a meal), the washer was an added plus and the pullout sofa was surprisingly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to stay!

Very spacious, very clean, well-furnished and very comfortable, good bed, kitchen with table and chairs, quiet. Single detached unit, but more reasonably-priced than the hotels in town. Beautiful small town.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.... One of my favourite guesthouses in Iceland. The room was spacious and everything was well maintained and clean. I love the quiet surroundings.

The houses are so beautiful! Such a great view! Light everywhere! Kids had fun sleeping on the second floor. The kitched was wonderfully equipped. We would love to come again and stay there for a month or three :)
