We really liked this place - lovely and spacious house that looked small from outside, but is so comfortable and nice inside. Everything was clean, bed is comfortable, well equipped kitchen, clear instructions about most important things and also additional information about Icelandic traditions. :) Very nice location - the view from windows is amazing - a lake, mountain and church. Very good experience, highly recommend this place!

Here we could really enjoy Icelandic life with a lot of sheep around. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, The owner is super friendly , the house is clean and has a nice design. We had a beautiful landscape view from the room if there is a good aurora forecast this is a great place to see it. Felt like at home. They are also selling icelandic sweaters for an affordable price.

E-v-e-r-y-thing!!! I have hijacked my partners account to write this review. We spent two magical nights at the Mirror Suite in absolute bliss! Upon arrival, we were greeted by candles and a handwritten welcome note and after a long day of travelling, immediately jumped into the hot tub which was ready and waiting for us. A few minutes into this we were blessed with the beautiful aurora borealis and a small snow storm, as we made our way to the sauna my partner dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. Gentlemen, if you’re planning to propose, this is the place! The entire set up is a home away from home, intimate, truly at natures doorstep and very private even with the other pods around, the placement of each is perfectly executed and you truly feel like the only people in the world. Our second night saw an even stronger northern light display which was absolutely breathtaking and this stay was one we will treasure forever as being a truly magical, all-consuming playground for Mother Nature and everything she has to offer. A huge shoutout to the fabulous ladies who run the place, they are so lovely and extremely accommodating.

Absolutely amazing scenic location, architecturally interesting building which is also very modern and well-equipped. We had a great experience staying at the mystic light lodge, there you feel a real connection to the nature, we even had a chance to observe some seals directly from our bed :) Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, our house was ready even before the anticipated arrival time.

Helpful host, clear direction. Nice house surrounded by expanse view. Big parking area, easy to find. Big space in additional living area. When we booked, the property clearly state about bathroom. Like the kitchen and dining area is separated. ( can also eat inside kitchen area too) Situated nearby main road but feel solitude, which is nice. Great price & value overall.

We had a great time in this house. It is very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The big hot tub was a highlight, for the adults as well as the kids. The hosts were very responsive and even proactively informed us about weather warnings for our departure.
