Set in Pizzo, 300 metres from Pizzo Beach, Asterias Residence - Rooms & SPA features accommodation with spa facilities, a steam room and an open-air bath. We arrived in Pizzo on the last (or second-to-last) day of our trip through Calabria, so unfortunately we only stayed for one night. I say unfortunately because, first of all, Pizzo is a truly charming town and worth staying longer, and secondly because the hotel was genuinely excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our flight home wasn’t until late in the evening, but we were allowed to stay by the pool and in the garden the entire day without any issues. They also arranged transportation to the airport and even let us check out a bit later than usual—all of this despite only staying one night. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced. They serve drinks and food throughout the day in their lovely garden. The location is close enough to both the town center and the beach. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here.

The host was really nice, he explained everything well, even told which bus to take to the airport. The room was really good, cozy bed, big smart TV, AC, etc. The bathroom with two shower heads was a big plus. We had a connected room with free coffe, electric kettle and they even had free Suncream(which is expensive in Calabria). The breakfast was served at 7am. A pleasant stay!

Thoughtfully designed, clean and modern apartment, the owner and his team are very warm an attentive, the place is made cozy and a absolute pleasure to stay at to the tinyest of detail. We really enjoyed our stay and felt like home, and definitely would like to return. The host really goes the extra mile of providing great suggestions for restaurants in the city or advice on where to travel and what to see. Included breakfast is great touch as well and very tasty. Location is ideal, both for a city stroll and seaside.

Great location with beautiful views over the bay. Plenty of room, comfortable bed, washing machine, extremely clean. A steep few minute walk up to the old town via steps & a walk down to the beach. Found parking at the end of the street & then walked up to the apartment. As others have mentioned it is sensible to bring a small bag.
