The staff was extremely polite, and even took us to the elevator and bowed politely to us before it closed. The other staff at the reception always greets and smiles to the guests. The property was also very close to Hiroshima Station. The room is immaculately clean, spacious if by Japan standard, with modern facilities plus a very welcoming atmosphere. This is the best hotel by far on all of my trips to Japan! I highly recommend this hotel!

A microwave, a fridge and kitchenware are also offered, as well as a kettle. Great soft big beds and pillows. Clean clean clean. Lots of room. We had 4 adults we could have had more. Beds were normal north American sized and soft. Bathroom was great. Laundry was great. No dryer just hang clothes. Door code to get in was no problem. Elevator to second floor was small but efficient. Good location near the museum and close to food and a aloft bakery was yum yum. Used the street car trains to get close to the house from Hiroshima station. Easy peasy. Would highly recommend. Never saw the person in charge but they sent messages and had rules in the apartment. A fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware are also provided, as well as a kettle. The units are equipped with heating facilities. This is a really neat, pleasant hotel. It's very comfortable and has great laundry facilities in the apartment (but seperate from the living/sleeping area). It's located right near the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. It also has a tram stop a few minutes walk away. The centre of the city is a few minutes walk the other side of the Peace Park. Oddly, for an unmanned hotel, we can give the staff top marks. The one staff member we ran into onsite was great and also helped us out of a bit of a jam. Also, as it is unmanned, a lot of thought has gone into anticipating the needs of clients. As a result, everything we needed was provided for.

The ryokan offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. We loved everything about the property. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The house was spotless, beautiful, and full of character. The location was perfect… peaceful and tucked away, but still only a short walk to the island’s main sights, shops, and ferries. It made exploring Miyajima incredibly easy. Communication with the host was clear, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. A map of the island with restaurants pinpointed including their business hours was provided to us at check in which was very thoughtful. We loved the quiet atmosphere, the beautiful interior, and the sense of calm the property offered. The beds were VERY comfortable! Plates, cups, cutlery, chopsticks, teapot plus tea and yummy coffee were all available! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Miyajima.

Brand new house with great attention to detail. It includes all sorts of amenities and they really have thought of everything you might need. The location is superb, on a street right behind the Tori and temple, so we were able to take photos in the evening and early morning when all the crowds were gone. The house has a lot of space and 2 toilets. It is very comfortable. We stayed only 1 night but this would be a perfect place to spend a long period of time. Also good for a family or group. I would definitely go back.
