Bare 45 kilometer fra Toyooka City History Museum ligger Japan's Oldest Remaining Company Housing -Like a Ghibli Scene. I’m not even sure where to begin — our stay in Ikuno was truly unforgettable. Our host, Rehan (a fellow South African living in Ikuno), went above and beyond for us. He offered to fetch us in Kobe walked us around the city, drove us all the way to Ikuno and even organised the most incredible meal for us at the local izakaya. His kindness set the tone for the whole stay. The accommodation itself was breathtaking - a beautifully renovated traditional company house that felt both historic and homely. Spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. One of my favourite moments was waking up to the sound of rain and looking out at the trees on the mountain. Pure magic. I would recommend this stay in a heartbeat. The accommodation is remarkable, the town is enchanting, and Rehan’s generosity, passion, and knowledge made the experience feel genuinely special. This was my favourite part of my entire trip in Japan and moments I will never forget. Thank you Rehan, cannot wait to visit again!

I Tayooka, 8 minutters gange fra North Disaster Earthquake Monument, ligger Base House Kinosaki お子様無料でサウナもアクティビティも楽しめる城崎温泉一棟貸し宿 One Group a Day Private Villa with free shuttle service, sauna and... The owner Nao is a very welcoming and very friendly person. The property has pictures and explanations for how to use everything in it so it was very easy to do what we wanted. Nao provides a free shuttle service to Kinosaki Onsen, about just a 10 minute ride. He also picked us up and dropped us off at the station once we left. The land around the property is also very beautiful as the beach is right there. Overall, I would definitely book this place again if I went back to Kinosaki Onsen.

Book & Guesthouse Hitotomaru ligger i Tayooka, med Takenohama-stranden bare 8 minutters gange unna. Very nice host, sashimi meal was delicious. The guesthouse is located at the beach, only 1 min walk. Kitchen is fully equipped. The interior design of the guesthouse is really beautiful and tasteful. Would definitely come back.
