We wish we could stay there for the entire trip.. loved the kitchen, the huge bed, the onsen, the welcome snacks. We walked or took a short bus to 7/11, and it was comfortable for us to commute in hakone in buses since there is a station very close. We had no issues with the self check in.

Hot spring flowing through house via an always full, warm bathtub. So nice. Sleeping on Tatami mats/futons or double bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine (but no dryer). We were made to feel welcome when arriving in the evening in November by a warm, lit-up house, so thoughtful.

I loved all of the automatic sliding doors and the modern, clean aesthetics. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and even arranged for a taxi to pick us up the morning we checked out. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the onsen was clean, relaxing, and quiet.

I was really looking forward to staying at this property and it was a last minute decision to incorporate an overnight stay to Hakone in our travel plans. I am so glad we did. It was the highlight of our trip, and such a lovely way to slow down for a night. If you can afford the time to spend two nights here, I would definitely recommend it. The property location and views (we woke to perfect Mt Fuji views in the morning!) makes it a perfect choice. It is a short stroll "into town" with various restaurant options and just a short 100m or so walk to 711 for convenience items.

Located around 23 km from Sankeien, the hotel with free WiFi is also 23 km away from Yokohama Marine Tower. The property is non-smoking and is located 3.3 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. An absolutely stunning view on the bay and Fuji from the room, which was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The dinner at the hotel was excellent- highly recommended.

Upon arrival Kimie greeted us kindly, she showed us the facilities (very well equipped and clean). During our stay in our room she provided us a hot water bag to make the bed more comfortable. The daily breakfast was also complete, delicious and nutritious. Kimie is a very kind and fun person, she invited us to social activities when the opportunity arose and we had a lot of fun. The house is a bit far from the train station but can easily be reached via bus from the station. It is located near the beautiful bamboo forest and there is also a convenience store nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. We felt at home and Kimie’s hospitality was superb.

All in all, a superb facility!

Our stay here was just amazing in many ways! Firstly the apartment is clean, stylish and quite spacious. The apartment contained everything we needed, even supplying things like cotton earbuds, body thermometer, cooking oils and seasoning! We asked Naoko san if we could borrow body scales to weigh our suitcases and she even supplied hand held bag scales! Naoko san was just amazingly helpful. I injured my foot just before check-out and just before heading to the airport to leave Japan. I couldn't walk so this caused quite a debacle in the last minute! She even extended our super late check-out to allow us to work out what to do, brought me bandages and called up 5 different taxi companies to get us a good deal on a taxi big enough for our family! We wouldn't have made it to the airport in time for our flight if it wasn't for her! We are so very grateful! Thank you so much Naoko san!
