The very best part were the owners, they made you feel incredibly welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we were visiting friends while we stayed in their house. There is so much space, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, laundry, soaking tub! And breakfast is brought over every morning by the lovely Akiko. ( also would be a great place for people with kids)

Excellent apartment, large, comfortable, well-equipped and-crucially-with excellent short instructions in English for the different appliances. The three-level bunk-bed is fun and very solid. The air conditioning works really well. The tatami room adds authenticity. Although the staff was very discrete, we were more than pleased with them: they always answered very promptly to messages and facilitated us receiving our suitcases which we had sent with the luggage service seamlessly. We very much enjoyed and highly recommend this apartment

Host was very responsive and helpful in our queries. host was clear in the communication about checking in, checking out and anything about the stay. Place was in a good location, with konbini jus across the street, and walkin distance to matsumoto station. Place was overall clean and spacious

Located in Hakuba, 7.6 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Wadano Gateway Suites & Apartments provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar. the room was massive - we got a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment that could fit 6 people comfortably, with a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer in room, 2 toilets, 4 beds and a massive smart TV with JBL sound system that supported netflix and disney+. it even came with a massive backyard with a full BBQ grill Would imagine this would be wonderful for large family getaways in seasons outside of winter (which we were in). We also loved the smart electronic bathtub that we could control the temperature of. Beds were comfortable. the staff was also friendly and spoke english.
