Offering mountain views, Rakuten STAY VILLA Kinugawa Riverside is an accommodation set in Nikko, 18 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 19 km from Nikko Station. Loved that there was both a sauna as well as an onsen! Great space with a projector to watch TV/movies on too. Great value for money in terms of what was on offer. We loved staying here and would recommend our friends and family to stay too.

Guesthouse Imaichi ゲストハウス今市マチナカ is set in Nikko, 10 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, 27 km from Kegon Falls, as well as 10 km from Rinno-ji Temple. The staff were lovely, free snacks provided, facilities were clean and nice and the beds were SO comfy

Situated in Nikko in the Tochigi region, with Tobu Nikko Station and Nikko Station nearby, Nikko Cottage Yurt features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The host, Sato-san, was absolutely amazing. He met us at the station, took my son & his family to their lodging, let us off and took our luggage with him. We spent the afternoon sightseeing and having lunch. We called him about 3-4 hours later when we were back at the station and told him we were going to pick up some things at the nearby supermarket before we came to the Yurt. He picked us up at the Supermarket and brought us to the Yurt where he helped us unloaded our luggage from his van and showed us how to get into the Yurt. No keys to deal with. Simple Combo lock. Sato-san begins communicating with you a few days before your arrival using Whatsapp. If you don't have it he uses e-mail which can lag behind. So, if you can set that up ahead of time, communications may go better for you.

Garden Nikko Guest House is set in Nikko, 11 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, 28 km from Kegon Falls, and 11 km from Rinno-ji Temple. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a two-story condo. There is parking space right in front of the building if you need it. The apartment is quite big compared to Japanese standards with one traditional, tatami-style bedroom and another regular one with bunk beds, a main dining area with a kitchen, a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. The tatami room is gorgeous with a beautiful Japanese-style table and floor seats and quite comfortable mattresses. Everything was spotless clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom has all the amenities you would find in a regular hotel. There's a washing machine and a dryer which you can use for a few hundred Yen on an honor system. The host, Akihito is extremely kind and helpful. He sent detailed instructions on how to find the apartment, and was greeting us in person when we got there. You can pay by credit card, which is a huge convenience. He also surprised us with a handmade gift, a fridge magnet he made himself. We appreciate is very much, thank you, Akihito! It's about a 15 minute walk from Shimo-Imaichi station and according to Google Maps about the same distance from JR Imaichi station. A very quiet neighborhood, we literally haven't seen anyone around. There is a rather large 7 Eleven about 3-5 mins walk away, and Akihito also provided us with a detailed map of the nearby restaurants. All in all this was one of the best places we had the pleasure to stay while in Japan. I would highly recommend you stay here if you visit beautiful Nikko.

Everything was perfect! BIG house, traditional style with all modern appliances available! Honestly exceeded our expectations.
