The house is a traditional, cute, cosy Japanese home, we had a lovely time staying for 3 days and I’m amazed with how thoroughly the owner had prepared the property before we arrive. There was diffuser at the entrance, which made the house smells so lovely. Nice branded shampoo and shower gel, Dyson hair dryer and a vacuum cleaner ( definitely highlight of the place) very comfortable bed sets and pillows. Oh, we loved the blanket/ table set, it was such a clever invention to have a giant electric blanket in the living room under the table to keep us warm while watching a movie over the projector. Overall it was absolutely amazing for anyone who wants to experience traditional Japanese living style.

They accomodated our late check-in, and the food provided was amazing. Also the in-person check-out was great and they were very attentive. The room is beautiful and it has everything that you need. I recommend it.

This place is large for 6 ppl with 6 big suitcases. It is same as the photos provided, clean and beautiful. Also well-equipped.

The place was very clean and beautiful, with almost all the necessary facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the information was communicated clearly, so we had no difficulty finding anything. The beds were comfortable.. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the surroundings.

Situated in Tsuruoka, 17 km from Kamo Aquarium, Ohanabatake features accommodation with a garden and free private parking. The man who lives in this house was perhaps the kindest person I have ever met on my travels. The place is very simple, and you get what you pay for. I thought it was pretty comfortable and the room was quite big. For the price, I think it is really good but it is quite an old house and tough to get to. But I was very grateful to the host, he drove me all the way to the station for no charge as I had lost my wallet and he let me sleep in until whenever I wanted. He was a very lovely man and I hope he gets a lot of business!
