Very kind staff, friendly and always happy to help. The best meals I ate on Dhigurah were the ‘local’ version of breakfast at the hotel each day. The beds were very firm…and to my surprise super comfortable.

The rooms are clean, modern, and have the little touches that make this a comfortable place to stay. The whole interior was peaceful and its own little haven. Dinner was delicious! Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night, but we would return in a heartbeat.

We liked everything from the very beginning, from the moment we met until we left. Akhmed is a very attentive and caring host. Our plane was delayed and we did not have time to catch the speedboat. Akhmed was constantly in touch and agreed speedboat on another time. After an hour and a half ride by speedboat, we were met by Akhmed on Dhangethi Island. When we met, he gave us a branded T-shirt and a coconut. We liked the hotel, a cozy room, everything was there, the air conditioning was silent. The hotel is located in the center, close to grocery and souvenir shops. The hotel has a kitchen, you can cook food, there is free water, tea, coffee, cakes and a veranda on which you can sit and eat. Excursions with Ahmed are a separate issue. He is a great expert in this matter. The next day we went on a manta ray excursion and swam with them, it was amazing. Akhmed films everything with his camera and then provides the video and photos for free. The next day he took us on a whale shark tour and we swam with it. My wife didn’t have time to swim after the whale shark, so Akhmed put her on his boat, they caught up with the whale shark, jumped into the water, he took her hand and literally took her to the whale shark. That was great! There were also excursions to the sand bank and snorkeling. In general, the week on the island flew by very quickly. As a farewell, Akhmed gave us more souvenir magnets. There is a lot more to tell, but we invite you to come and see everything for yourself. Thanks to Akhmed. We'll definetely come back. P.S. We ate at the Compass restaurant, stingrays swim there in the evening, you can feed them, and my wife constantly fed them and pet them. Super!

Moodhumaa Inn se găsește în localitatea Guraidhoo din regiunea Atolul Kaafu, la câțiva pași de Plaja din Guraidhoo Beach. This guest house is really amazing. I came here for 3 nights as a solo female traveler and it was perfect. The room is good size and very very clean. There is AC, TV, wifi, and breakfast included. They give you 2 towels, shower gel, shampoo, coffee, water. You can book the speedboat from Male’ airport through them (it should be 25$) and then they pick you up at the harbor. The bikini beach it’s just like 3/4 mins away. The owner, Latif, is a really nice man and he made me feel at home preparing breakfast every morning for me and helping me with any questions I had. I also booked the excursions through Latif (swimming with nurse sharks and sea turtles, both highly recommended). Plus, i texted them a lot the weeks prior asking many questions since i was a little bit anxious as it was my first time doing an experience like this alone and they gave me all the informations i needed. The island itself is beautiful but this guest house made the experience much better for sure. Thank you Latif and the team for the wonderful costumer service! Tip: if you want to buy souvenirs I recommend you to go to “Felice shop”. The owner is most of the time in front of this guest house and he is a really good person that also speaks so many languages, he is really nice to talk to and maybe ask some advices in your language!

Thundi Villa se află în Maalhos, la aproximativ câțiva pași de Bikini Beach, și pune la dispoziție serviciu de concierge, camere fără alergeni, o grădină, WiFi gratuit în întreaga proprietate și un... Bed was very comfy, shower and bathroom was nice and clean. There even was a fridge which was nice to keep my water cold. Nice outdoor space for relaxing. Close to beach
