This was a great space in a fantastic location. It was perfect for exploring the heart of SMA. I would eagerly book this place again if/when I return to the area.

Casa de Tillie was great. The owners, Flo and René, were exceptionally helpful in terms of logistics and recommendations, and moreover are super nice people. The B&B itself is large, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast - different every day and delicious each time - was excellent, and (importantly for me) the coffee was good, strong, and plentiful. Laundry facilities worked great and there's a nice pool/jacuzzi area that Flo and René were kind enough to open up for us at my son's request despite the weather being too chilly for a sane adult to want to use it. They provided plenty of recommendations and advice, both for sites and places to eat, and help in finding a driver to take us on the next leg of our trip, to Guadalajara. Maybe the bit that is most illustrative of how helpful I found them is that on the morning of our checkout the driver they had recommended texted me saying he wasn't feeling well and was looking for a replacement. Originally I'd have been pretty stressed/worried, but by then I'd communicated with him a lot and moreover implicitly trusted anyone who Flo and René had recommended to me. And indeed another driver was found and the drive was completed without a hitch. One thing to note is that the B&B is about a ten minute walk outside of the center, up a pretty steep hill with a decent amount of traffic. I'd consider walking up myself but with a child we took (ubiquitous and cheap) Ubers each time.

I travelled in days with cold nights, they gave me a heater and extra blankets. very safe and close to the center. thank you!

Eugene was welcoming and when we arrived he upgraded our room for no charge which was very kind. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Building and courtyard is very pretty. Location is good, everywhere in San Miguel is a walk away. Highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to San Miguel de Allende

So many special touches, and Rafa and his wife were wonderfully accommodating and warm as always. We look forward to our next stay :)

After a very warm welcome, she introduced me the main highlights of the city of Guanajuato from the stunning terrace of Casa Rofo where they also offer a delicious homade breakfast. There is nothing better then looking at the colourful city while sipping your coffee with a breathtaking view. Casa Rofo is located just a few steps from the city center. My room was spotless and extremly "cozy" Wifi was excellent at all times. They helped me ¹ arreange my taxi early morning to the airport and she stayed up with me on the door waiting for the taxi to pick me up at 4a.m. I truly had a great unforgettable stay with them There is no best option than being a stranger but feeling like you were at home. Thank you once again Omar and Jaky for making myself at home. Your pancakes were fluffy and flavourful.

Unless youre already a millionaire,you ll definitely feel like one if youre lucky enough to stay here !.I stayed in 3 hotels in the town in the week before and had been a bit disappointed.But then i hit the jackpot.Superb in every way ! I had Loft 4 and couldnt fault it. Great rooftop terraces also.Very professionally run by the staff too. I loved the courtesy dressing gowns - am now trying to track one down to buy online.Dont hesitate - go ahead and book it now !.
