Well situated in the centre of Monterrey, Alameda Suites & CAS - Centro Monterrey is a recently renovated apartment offering express check-in and check-out and free private parking. Overall, this is a wonderful place in a very good location. The green Alameda Monterrey is a block north, and the center is 10-30 minutes' walk depending where you're going. It's completely quiet. The owner is warm, friendly and helpful... for instance, they offered to take me to a doctor when I was feeling sick. The kitchen is nicely equipped (though you need to unplug the refrigerator to use the microwave, and one time i forgot to plug in the fridge again!). I loved the king-size bed, which is a fairly rare thing in Mexico. Once I figured out how to turn on the heat, I had that too -- another surprise in Mexico. (The heat is only in the bedroom, but it gradually drifts into the kitchen and bathroom... I used the big tower fan to help warm those sooner, I hoped). Everything was spotlessly clean.

What a wonderful place to stay! Juan the host is really helpful. There are lots of cafes, shops and restaurants near the apartment. You can walk along the river. The pool on the roof is amazing and the views of the mountains are stunning. I would definitely recommend this place.
