Laura and Ulises (and Chula, their dog) were amazing hosts, super accommodating and were very helpful when we had travel difficulties from Oaxaca. They have great contacts for experiences in the area, we recommend surfing! The hotel was beautiful, very clean and we loved the ‘guest house’ vibe and laid back nature. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas available for use which was really helpful in the heat. The location was great, near lots of restaurants and bars and just a short taxi ride to swimmable beaches. The pool and view of the beach and sunsets made for a perfect stay.

The space is everything and more than you can ask for. The energy of the place is warm and welcoming making it a perfect to relax and rest. Beds are comfortable, great water pressure. The management team are so helpful to make your stay the best you will find in Oaxaca.

A recently renovated property, Siento Oaxaca is set in Oaxaca City near Santo Domingo Temple, Oaxaca Cathedral and Central Bus Station foreign buses. Great location, right near the centre of Oaxaca. The property is super cute and has everything you can possibly need. Staff was really helpful and accomodating when we asked to extend our sstay of one night.

Set in Santa Cruz Huatulco, 1.9 km from Chahue Beach, Rooms Huatulco offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. A public bath is available for guests. It is a great place to stay. Beautiful pool and lounging area. Very clean and business.

Situated in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca region, Casa Mura is set 1.3 km from Zicatela Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. This is, hands down, no questions asked - the best accommodation we’ve had in our entire trip around Mexico! We’ve been in Mexico for over a month and this place is an absolute gem! Comfortable, welcoming with all necessities provided for; a.c, fan, water, cooker and fridge. It’s perfectly located next to a breathtaking beach and also a stone’s throw away from a convenience store. The house is private with a rooftop where we ate our homemade breakfast and dinner whilst watching sunrise and sunset. The host, Carlos - one of the nicest persons we’ve come across - welcoming and very hospitable. He’s only a message away and always replies in a matter of minutes. We returned to this accommodation after visiting the Posada Real hotel - which was very disappointing- and we decided to finish our trip over here! Apart from all of this - we rented a scooter through Carlos’ contact and we’re also very satisfied -decent price and good quality scooters. If you plan to visit Puerto Escondido- then Casa Mura is the place to stay!

Offering city views, Zen Suites by Regente is an accommodation located in Oaxaca City, 11 km from Monte Alban and 45 km from Mitla. Good location, hugh apartment very comfortable and clean.

Hotel Bendita Luna is situated in Mazunte, within 5.2 km of White Rock Zipolite and 7.8 km of Umar University. A cozy little hotel, a way from the busy street but still walk king distance to the beach. The owner was very welcoming and gave us some good recommendations. Will recommend this hotel to others for sure
