Marcela Resort & Spa ligger i Puerto Vallarta, med Playa Los Muertos-stranden bare 6 minutters gange unna. I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Puerto Vallarta. The accommodations were so beautiful, the service was top, and the location was perfect, walking just some minutes away from downtown The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back. It's true that the hotel is on a hill, so there's a short uphill walk from Downtown, but it’s manageable and you can also take a car or taxi. This might be a bit tricky for elderly guests, but the views and peaceful setting are worth it!

Very clean. Well kept. Great location. Amenities well appointed. Spanish lessons and having access to washer and dryer was a bonus. Jorge and his staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and trustworthy.

Offering an outdoor pool and BBQ facilities, Casa Virgilio B&B is located in Nuevo Vallarta, 1.7 km from the town centre. Free Wi-Fi access is available. This property has a wonderfully relaxing ambiance that comes from Virgilio himself to start with and then also from the staff and customers, many of whom seem to be regular guests. Breakfast is served outdoors and is a great opportunity to meet fellow guests, swap tales of where to go and generally share our varied (mostly Canadian) backgrounds and make new friends. Although we have previously travelled from Britain to this area of Mexico five times we previously stayed in all inclusive hotels and much prefer Casa Virgilios as a base as you can try local restaurants and explore more.
