The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. This was hands down the best place we stayed during our entire trip to Norway. The aesthetic of the house is simply stunning – minimal, warm, and perfectly in harmony with the surrounding nature. The view is breathtaking, like something out of a postcard, and we couldn't get enough of it. Everything, from the amenities to the small thoughtful details, was beyond expectations. The comfort, the atmosphere, the design – it all came together to create a truly unforgettable experience. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Absolutely incredible in every way – highly recommended!
