Sakrisøy Rorbuer is situated 3.5 km from the picturesque Reine fishing village. Leknes town centre is 50 km away. All cottages at Sakrisøy Rorbuer have wooden interiors. The location on the edge of the bay was amazing. It was warm and cosy and had a fully equipped kitchen. It also had an authentic charm with the exposed log walls with moss hammered into the joints.

There is a combo clothes washer/dryer and a drying rack, so we were able to do our laundry. This is a big plus in a country with few self-service laundromats. Though there is a laundromat in Narvik, it is only open on Thursdays, and only for a short number of hours.) The bed was comfortable. (Note that if you are two people needing separate bedrooms, you need to notify the owner about that ahead of time because otherwise you may find the other bedrooms locked.) The shower was good (steady temperature, good pressure, and well-enclosed). There was a bathmat. Parking is free and right in front of the house. The location is quiet. The owner lives close by. It is only about a 20-minute walk to restaurants. As advertised, the view is fantastic, especially the sunsets.

The changing light, and weather conditions on the harbour and mountains perfect for photo memories from the balcony. Some spectacular sunrises. Warm and comfortable, clean and well maintained, modern fittings. Supermarkets, and shopping centre a short walk. The bus and ferry terminal also within walking distance.

It was a gorgeous, spacious property with the most spectacular view. Felt really luxurious with all the modern fittings. The owners were very easy to contact. This really ended our trip in the most perfect way. It felt like a “special” accommodation, one that we will talk about for time to come.

Really love this entire bungalow.It’s luxurious,spacious,very clean, modern decor, brand new and it’s perfect and has everything like washing machine,hair dryer,dishwasher,oven,toaster,kettle,coffee machine and even provide food ingredients for cooking and baking.All the electronics appliances are all branded.wow it’s most expensive feeling to stay in and price are reasonable good.We also manage to charging car battery for free.Absolutely love this amazing place with a stunning and gorgeous mountains and lake view <3
