Beautiful setting and very comfortable accommodation. Loved the spa and the natural pool. The bbq area was also really lovely. Our cottage was well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay.

We did a Twilight Footprints tour in Waipoua Forest and the pick up location was a 5 minute walk up the road. Beautiful views and great little deck. Very comfortable bed!

Situated just 20 km from Opua Forest, FOREST WATERS features accommodation in Haruru with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Overall, the accomodation was fabulous! The grounds were really peaceful and it was only a 10 minute drive to town. So much nicer than staying in town with a lot of noise and people around. The hosts were kind, warm and generous but also gave us our own space and privacy. I'd never stayed in a B&B style accomodation before so this was a new experience and I'd do it again. If I have the opportunity to come back to the Northlands of NZ I'd definitely stay again.

Set in Mangawhai in the Northland region, Mangawhai Heads apartment has a patio and garden views. The property features inner courtyard views. Lovely property! Host Jan was welcoming and we loved her bread every morning. The kitchen area is well organized with many extras. We enjoyed the outdoor area as well Only place we have stayed with screens on the windows. Didn’t miss a kitchen sink as dirty dishes go in a bin and they are washed for you. Loved that part!
