The house location is very beautiful as it is next to the La India Dormida and the view was excellent. The host Debra was very helpful and communicated all the information in advance and also gave very good guidance and suggestions on activities in El Valle. It was very easy for us to communicate with her since she speaks English. She responded to questions immediately. The house was as described in the pictures and was very clean and comfortable. We had an excellent stay at El Valle and would definitely recommend to anyone.

The casita was very well appointed and the little touches were great. The owner had a supply of coffe and essential cooking items, something we really appreciated. She even left us a papaya to use for the bird feeder . The birding from the deck was incredible, we saw a great number of birds without even leaving the property.

Location was excellent, with comfortable beds and all the required amenities in good working order. Perfect for our 3 night stay. It’s a 5 min walk to a good size supermarket, 15 mins to the main ‘downtown’ Avenida with restaurants and the mercado. 3 amazing hikes to the top of the ancient caldera, and the butterfly farm is a must see. We were able to park our car inside their gate, and the home is a 15 min walk to access one of the 3 primary hikes in the area, India Dormida. Jose and his partner, Liz, are wonderful hosts, and made us feel like family. The breakfast is simple and filling, and we could use their fridge and also made a meal or two using the kitchen facilities. Jose and Liz are gracious hosts and Jose is very witty. They made our time there a truly fun and memorable experience. Communication was excellent, in English and Spanish, despite my spouse and I having very limited Spanish language skills. Local knowledge, tips, and recommendations on things to do in the area were great and super appreciated. Finally, Jose joined us on one of our hikes and he made it super fun and interesting with his knowledge of local flora and fauna. We only stayed 1 night but it feels like a perfect place to stay longer exploring the mountains 🏔️, cook with a wonderful environment.

A few minutes walk from large supermarket and Pan-Am highway (for transport). Lovely, friendly, helpful family owners. Very clean. Locked, gated access and own key to rooms. Excellent wifi/internet/network. Powerpoints situated around the place. Small, compact kitchen, 2 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, few pots, pans, limited crockery/cutlery. Doesn't get too hot, also air-conditioning in room. Multiple payent methods available. Medium sized, comfortable, double bed, bedside table and lamp. Good lighting. Some limited storage, with clothes hangers.

Tristan was very helpful, communicative and extremely supportive when we had an issue at the house. The place is seriously espectacular with everything you need. The WiFi worked perfectly, the kitchen space was beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The house is very spacious, the living room is very comfortable. We took our dog and he loved it, it was well fenced and the grass was pretty cut down. The location is top notch! And is very very near to the town center and supermarket.
