The owners are so lovely. Our room was at the top with amazing mountain views and quiet. The included breakfast was great with a glass room with good views. They packed us breakfast to take on our early morning train to Macchu Pichu. Only a few minutes walk to the main square. Highly recommend!

My upstairs suite was absolutely stunning looking over a beautiful river and the Andes. The bed was incredibly comfortable and breakfast was very generous with the best coffee I've had in Peru thus far. I absolutely loooooved the decor and the bathroom was beautiful, large and filled with beautiful indoor plants. Highly recommend Spirit of the lodge for anyone looking to spend some time in the sacred valley.

The owner was very nice she helped us with everything. The apartment was warm with hot shower which is needed in Cusco during the holidays. Neighbourhood was quiet and cca 10-15 min by walk from main square.

Breakfast was simple, fresh fruit, freshly made eggs, bread, cheese, fresh squeezed orange juice, and serviceable coffee. It was good, for all it was simple. Get coffee elsewhere if you're a coffee snob, but it was perfectly fine if all you needed was the caffeine. The place was clean, quiet, and spacious. We had a hike booked, but I got food poisoning (not from this place!) the morning we were supposed to leave. I spent 16 hours (I counted, it was great) not able to leave the bathroom for more than five minutes. This place is central to everything while being off the main road, so my brother didn't have to go far to find me meds and gatorade. And hey, I can tell you with assurance that the bathroom was not the worst place to spend 16 hours throwing up! Wouldn't do it again, necessarily, but it could have been worse. There are restaurants and museums nearby. The place has the space to allow your party a little privacy if you want it (living room and bedroom, little courtyard). I'd definitely stay here again.

Amazing hostel to base yourself from in pisac. Spacious dorms, several clean bathrooms and a rooftop with a view! Also reliable hot water, a well equipped kitchen and electric plug for each bed. Super relaxed and friendly vibe, Would definitely stay again.

The host is so caring, she helped us organise our stay, getting a sim card, accompanying us to the market, she offers laundry service, etc. Breakfast is excellent. We were travelling as a family and felt very much at home.

We have been travelling across Europe, Asia, and Peru for five months, and this is one of the best stays by far. The family that runs this place is incredibly kind, welcoming and friendly. They have an amazing warmth, and are so helpful with anything you need. When we checked in they gave us a map and explained where all the nearby markets and attractions are. Location is good, close enough to everything but still in a quiet area. They also helped us find the collectivo stations, and arranged for a taxi to pick us up when we left. They let us stay in the room for an extra half an hour until the taxi came at no extra charge. Overall value for money is insanely good. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with many big windows, and the bed was wonderfully comfy with soft, fluffy blankets and duvets. The shower is electric, so is always perfectly and instantly hot. They even have an affordable and excellent laundry service! As of January 2026, it was 6 soles/kg and when given in the morning, was returned the same evening! They also provided us with nice towels and free soap, and lent us a hair dryer for the entire stay. Hand soap is a liquid, refillable dispenser which we loved from a sustainability perspective. Then there was the complimentary breakfast. Coffee, delicious eggs, bread with jam and butter, and milk. One of us is gluten intolerant, and they gave us a bowl of hot water for instant oats. The fruit they cut up varied (mango, papaya, apple, blueberries, avocado, banana), and was always prepared very well and tasted perfectly ripe. This felt more like a home than a hostel. Cannot recommend highly enough!
