Self Catering Accommodation in Cusco

This was the most satisfying stay of our travels around the world, the host was warm and attentive, the room was clean and bright, and the breakfast was delicious.

The property is perfectly placed being only a 10-15 walk from San Pedro market and railway station. The views of old Cusco are awesome. Don't be skeptical about the look of the place from the outside, inside, the apartment is amazing....no, really. Perfect place to acclimatise before you head out on your adventures. Two double bedrooms and a single. Lounge and dining areas are simply perfect. The hosts, and I must mention Aracely in particular are so very helpful, warm and friendly you wouldn't believe it. Aracely arranged taxis for us and gave us some great information, via Google Translate in our case as we're non Spanish speaking. Would definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. All of Cusco is noisy, whether it's dogs barking, incessant car horns, or the local cockerills, but this place is as quiet as you're going to get. Close to a local grocery store where you can stock up on eggs, bread and water etc. If you want to head out for something to eat it's only a 15 walk into the heart of the old town, (a 25 minute walk back until you find your altitude feet). Just take it easy and you'll be fine, but when people tell you to take it easy for a day or two, listen to them.

We had an great stay - the loft is beautifully designed and in a great central location. The hosts were amazing and accommodating. The breakfast included was spectacular. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again!

I stayed here after doing the Salkantay and it was absolutely perfect to be able to get some rest and “recharge”. The beds are super comfortable and private, there’s a same-day laundry service, the bathrooms were clean, the kitchen was one of the most fully equipped I’ve come across in South America and the staff were super helpful.

For me, Secret Garden is a great family-run hostel. The stay was excellent—especially thanks to José, the manager; he is an incredible person, full of energy and very attentive to his guests. I recommend it to everyone—this is the place to stay in Cusco.

Excellent and very comfortable hotel! It has a beautiful view, a great location close to the city center (5 to 10 minutes walking), and it's right in front of Sacsayhuaman. The staff is very attentive, especially Stephany. It's definitely worth it.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the main square, but in a small ally, so it's very quiet. The staff were lovely and helped with everything we needed! Both the rooms and the kitchen are very clean. We loved the place so much that we stayed almost 3 weeks, our whole stay in Cusco :) I highly recommend staying here!

I liked it a lot, my only problem was my habitacion didn’t have real windows.

Alex ,the staff in charge was super helpful and responsive. We need to check out at 4.30am and he even packed breakfast and helped us with our luggage despite the early hours. My room is superior apartment and the room is spacious! Breakfasts were sent to the room !

Garden is beautiful. House is spacious. Nice view from the balcony. Breakfast very convenient at your own time. Shower was nice. At night the fireplace makes it very cozy.

I felt comfortable and I like that the staff is friendly. The house with its courtyard is nice and the location is great, because it is a pedestrian street with no traffic. I felt very safe here.

located on a live center street 100m away from the main square. The room given had 4 beds, 2 floors, a tv, fridge etc you need for a comfy stay. The staff was super friendly, a breakfast room service was a gift.

Although the hotel is about a 30-minute walk from Cusco’s city center, this distance is exactly what makes it special. The views are absolutely stunning — during the day you can enjoy beautiful scenery from the windows, and at night the city lights create a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind without feeling rushed or disturbed. Some reviews mention that the location is not ideal, but for me it became a wonderful opportunity to experience a more local side of Cusco. The owner is extremely kind and helpful, always sharing useful information about local areas, restaurants, and even events like the New Year’s countdown. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy both sightseeing and local culture. I stayed in a private room, which was spacious and very comfortable, with a sofa and stylish furniture. It truly felt like staying at home. The breakfast was also great, especially the fruit smoothies, which I looked forward to every morning. The kitchen is available for guests, and I highly recommend buying fresh ingredients at San Pedro Market, cooking at the hotel, and enjoying your meal while watching the night view. After dinner, going up to the rooftop to admire the city lights was a perfect way to end the day. If you are looking for great views, a quiet environment, and a genuine local experience in Cusco, I highly recommend staying here. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

I was looking for a peaceful accomodation in the center of Cusco, to spend a few days in the city. El Jardín de Jeni turnes out to be an amazing choice. The private room was beautiful, clean and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and had a lot of blankets to keep you warm during the night. The bathroom was very clean. There is a shared kitchen which has everything you need to cook a decent meal. The owner, Jesús, is very friendly. His English is very good and he’ll help you with everything you need. I really really recommend staying at this place when you are in Cusco!

Lovely apartment everything we needed was there and a lovely location, staff couldn't be more helpful
