First of all, the family is incredibly kind and welcoming. Honestly, it was one of my best stays ever. Even though Camiguin itself was just okay for me, this place made the whole experience amazing. I stayed in the dorm – but it doesn’t feel like a typical dorm. You get a big, comfy bed in a big room, with plenty of personal space. There’s a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your own meals – just buy groceries and you’re good to go. Save a lot of money The place is super clean – they clean constantly, probably more than needed! I also rented a motorbike from them in a good price and great condition. The location is right in front of the beach, about 10 minutes driving from town. But honestly, there’s not much to do in town anyway, so it’s not a big deal. Summary: If you’re coming to Camiguin – YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE!

The house feels so relaxing with a great view of the sea and the famous White Island of Camiguin. It gives a REALLY nice view of the sunset. The house is surrounded with nature which is very perfect if you are really looking for a place to get closer to nature. The house has no neighbors. The nearest house will be the owner's house seated just a little bit below the accommodation. So you will really own the place, together with the surroundings, all by yourself. Which I really loved since it gave the peaceful vibes that I wanted. The house is also near the town proper. But you will need a scooter/motorcyle/car/habal to go to the nearest store. Camiguin is just a small province and habal/scooter is the most basic form of transportation in the island so anywhere you stay, you will really need a ride to get around but it won't take too much time. The house is clean. The place is very spacious with its own kitchen. The balcony is very relaxing with a very great view. The shower room is amazing as well - it's an outdoor shower room. The water pressure is good with hot and cold option. The bedroom is very spacious. The owner is also VERY kind and accommodating. You can contact him anytime if you need anything during your stay. His house is located just below the accommodation so it gives a feeling of security as well and you know that he could entertain for your needs instantly since he just lives nearby. I was able to drop my baggage before the check-in time since I arrived early in Camiguin before I went on with my tour. He also drove me to the airport at my last day. He actually offered to pick me up upon arrival but I had already arranged that beforehand. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here for 4D3N. I did not experience any problems at all.

Staying at Gelt and Janice's little paradise in the mountain has been truly a memorable experience. The breakfasts, the garden, the views, the stonehouse and above all the fantastic easygoing hosts have made our stay there one of the highlights of our trip to the Philippines, and I am sure one to remember forever. The cottages are very spacious with a nice kitchen, hot shower, giant smart tv with netflix, comfortable king size bed, and a huge sala with clean glass windows that can be opened all the way to enjoy the breathtaking view of hibok hibok mountain and the sea and white island, all can be viewed without obstruction. The host, Suzy, was extremely helpful and friendly each and every day, providing water and anything we may have needed, including referrals for tour guides to climb hibok hibok. We also had the treat of a new moon and were able to star gaze from the lounge chairs at the pool, and since this property is far from any light pollution the sky was glittering with endless constellations. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Camiguin.

Located in a quiet place in the mountains, you get thrilling views to the sea, White Island, and top of the mountain. Spacious and comfortable house. Mighty rooms, bathroom included. The sea view is breathtaking. The host was so polite and helpful, we are very thankful for making our stay such an amazing experience. On the last day we had a little issue with a third party transport to the port, but the owner resolved it promptly. Thank you very much and see you again!
