Located in Ponta Delgada, 2.8 km from São Roque Beach, Pêro Teive Bay Apartments Hotel features accommodation with a hot tub, a hammam and spa facilities. We booked a one-bedroom apartment through Booking.com. At the time of booking, we did not receive any confirmation about whether the apartment would be pool-view or bay-view. However, in the property’s internal system it appeared as a bay-view (street-view) apartment, as if this had been our specific request. Although we had clearly asked for a quiet room, the street-facing apartment was unfortunately very noisy. Despite good soundproofing, there was road traffic and active construction directly opposite the building. We informed the management on our first morning, and they handled the situation immediately and very professionally. We were able to move to a pool-view one-bedroom apartment, which was extremely quiet. From that moment on, we had a truly restful and enjoyable stay. The apartment was very comfortable, with a great bed, excellent equipment, and everything we needed. Cleaning was done daily, towels were changed upon request, and fresh coffee capsules were provided every day. The staff were kind and helpful, and even when they were not physically present, they were always reachable with fast and efficient communication. The SPA was available by prior reservation and used privately, which was a real highlight for us. We used it several times and really enjoyed the private jacuzzi, Turkish bath, and sauna – a perfect way to relax. As we stayed during the low season, the property was very quiet, and parking was never an issue; there was always space available for our car. The location is excellent: just a few minutes’ walk to the city center and also very close to the ocean and the beach.

Unbelievable view from the house. All the window panels opened up as if you were part of the outside. although conveniences in the house were ultra modern.

The apartments were comfortable, clean and big. We spent a great time in the accomodation being able to use the gym, sauna and jacuzzi after a hiking day.

Located in Angra do Heroísmo and with Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach reachable within 600 metres, Partenope Hostel and Suites provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, free bikes, free WiFi... Partenope is in the center of Angra, near the botanical garden. The parking space is very close and it's cheap. Taxi od near as the bus stop. Restaurants and cafes are near as well as shops. It's a quiet establishment and honestly I can't in the evening and went around in the morning, My bunk bed was spacious and pleasant. Breakfast is basic; bread, cheese and ham, yogurt, juice, coffee, honey, Nutella, some sweets and fruits as well. Enough to start the day. The kitchen is spacious and has everything for a quick snack. It was pleasant to chat with the owner of the establishment as well. If you're looking for a place to end the day and start fresh, this is the place.

Situated in Ponta Delgada, Brum Design Apartments I is a recently renovated accommodation, 12 km from Pico do Carvao and 24 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. Spotlesly clean and comfortable apartment with separate bed- and bathrooms, close in the centre. Staff at Reception of the Hotel was very nice and attentive. We could ask take away breakfast for the day when we had to leave early, on the rest of the days we had our breakfast at the Farm Hotel (700 m away from the Brum), which is so nicely furnished. Breakfast is the same every day, but plenty and delicious. I missed a bit the choice of vegetables.

Situated in Santo António, 8.4 km from Pico do Carvao, João de Oliveira casas de campo provides accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, an open-air bath and a garden. We had a wonderful stay at this house. Everything was exactly as described and even better in person. The place was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was great, and we really appreciated the view and the warm hospitality. Breakfast was very good. Communication with the host was easy and quick. We were completely satisfied and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Boasting a year-round outdoor pool and a hot tub, Quinta da Casa Grande is set in Ponta Delgada, 16 km from Pico do Carvao and 27 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. A simply superb stay This is fammily owned and run, very stylish and very comfortable in every way. The breakfast was adequate. The owner was so extremely pleasant - she made the stay very memorable. This was a truly wonderful place to experience!
