We rented both houses since we were a couple and a single friend and we all had a lot of privacy and the whole place to ourselves but were able to hang together in the garden whenever we wanted. The owners live next door and were very nice, gifting us some traditional queijadas from Graciosa on departure.

Beautiful location right by the ocean and walking distance to several restaurants and markets. Well kept yard and home with lovely antique furniture. We were met by the owners adult son and oriented to the features of the home. The owner was very responsive. We had a little scare with a family who fell, the owner responded quickly to my late night message and was very kind.

Out the door just to the right and you coups walk up the Caldeira. Fantastic garden with view at Sao Jorge, Pico (when the weather is clear) and Faial. And breakfast was the perfect start of the day. The owners were very friendly and helpful with a lot of information about the life on the island and about the atractions. The property is big with beautifull garden , pond with frogs, hamocks, places to sit , relax and enjoy. Our appartment, Casa Flores, is very nice, clean, with a lot of nice decoration, very well equiped with everything one can need. The bed is big and very comfortable. From the house we made some nice hikes. Very famous swimming spot, Carapacho, is few minutes away. We would like to come again!
