Set in Arpaşu de Sus in the Sibiu County region, Povestea din Munti features a garden. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 38 km from Făgăraș Fortress. Povestea din Munti exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Anka was so very friendly and attentive to us. The room and common areas were more than clean - they were spotless. It was a pleasure to chat with her and I could tell that she has a lot of pride in her place, and it shows. The rooms were decorated very well and gardens were meticulously maintained. Also, since it was over 33 degrees during the day, the air conditioner was worked great and was very much appreciated. Other than that, the location of Povestea din Munti was perfect for what we had planned for our trip. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice apartment with 2 bedrooms and living room with sofa, few minutes walking from the Sibiu city center. Large rooms with nice equipment. All needed information were shared before the arrival and the landlord was very kind. Sibiu is a beautiful city and we were lucky to catch the Sibiu International Theatre Festival which was fantastic, therefore we adjusted our route plan and stayed one more evening in the City.

Very clean fairly new place. Quiet place. Free onsite parking. Had free coffee, tea ,milk, Biscuits, lollies . Kitchen facility in the basement area. Bathroom shower was good , had kept shower caps, cotton pads and cotton buds , shampoo, conditioner etc . Very good wifi . As we drove . Location was not a major issue I had piece of mind knowing our hire car was safe. We stayed on 2nd floor. Be aware of needing to carry your luggages. Need to be able to call the host for key collection as looks like mostly controlled remotely.
