20 km from Basse-Casamance National Park, Oasis club is a recently renovated property situated in Cap Skirring and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The hotel was immaculate & the staff were exceptional. Yannick should be very proud of what he has achieved. It felt like we were part of an extended family. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The whole experience was so good we stayed an extra night.

Set in Oussouye, Chez Khassim offers accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. A real find. Carole (speaks French and English) and her Husband Khassim were perfect hosts. Super friendly and Carole also helped us with all local arrangements (Mangrove Kayak trip 8kCFA, Motorbike (10kCFA/day), local restaurant bookings etc). Lovely private pool (shared between just the owners and the guests in the bungalow). 2 double bedrooms each with shower/toilet. Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge. Lots of fruit trees in the garden which Carole welcomed us to consume from as we wished! The 25metre platform climb (3kCFA/person) is just south of Point St George) was a fun excursion after visiting the massive Fromager trees in Mlomp (small museum there also worth a quick visit). The local VTT activity centre is 5mins walk from the property and has pretty decent hardtail mountain bikes to rent and organised great kayak trips also. Carole may also be able to offer breakfasts if you enquire in advance - she kindly did for us.

A very peaceful & quite location a short walk less than 400m to lovely quiet beach . Abene village is a 15 min walk via either beach or bush tracks . Our Hosts did everything to make you feel at home in the sprit of Senegalese culture in Wolof language "Teraanga" translates as " hospitality”, “consideration”. The rooms were comfortable, clean & well furnished. The gardens and the buildings are very well maintained. The meals were lovely and hospitality was exceptional at all meal times. Highly recommended for an relaxation escape holiday. A day time sleep in the hammock in the garden is a must do !! I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Amazing place! Would go again immediately. The Host helps solve your problems, even from a distance. The place is very pretty decorated and the view is so amazing. The location really contributes in enjoying a nice beach vacation in a very relaxed almost isolated place, although there are 02 very nice restaurants along the beach in walking distance. With a 10minute taxi drive, you are easily in the vibrant city center as well. I almost wanted to rebook this place immediately. Big recommendation!
