We really enjoyed and appreciated the hospitality of the host. It is obvious they really care about the guests. The house is cozy and clean- it feels like a home. Beautiful and quiet location with easy access to everything. We also enjoyed the restaurants recommended to us.

Sonia and her team are VERY friendly, always smiling and very helpful. We felt absolutely welcome and had an amazing time. Where do I begin? Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable.
