Super spacious and absolutely stunning! Great communication with the host who shared recommendations and was supportive of our daily excursions out of town. The home had all the facilities possible and is set up in a unique way, with a central courtyard and a terrace. We would’ve loved to spend more time in the city simply to enjoy the property more.

The host is very welcoming and helpful. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equipped and bath is very good. There are plenty of restaurants in close walking proximity.

The host had his dad pick us up in his car from the station as we arrived at almost 23:00 due to our train being delayed by 3 hours, and also brought us a big dish of pasta for dinner and oranges and dates as well. We loved the spaciousness of Villa Mariem. The sunlit dining room, with glass walls facing east and west, was especially bright, and opening the many shuttered windows and courtyard doors in the afternoons filled the villa with warm, fresh December air. The furnishings throughout are comfortable and inviting, making it a pleasant place to return to after days out. Some of my favourite comforts included: the clean, comfortable leather couches; the firm mattress with a generous choice of blankets—pillowy comforters, wool, and cotton; the granite kitchen counters and well-stocked cupboards with dishes, cookware, a kettle, and a teapot; the consistently hot water in both the shower and the kitchen sink; and the large white cotton bath towels! We also appreciated the electric heater, which took the edge off the cool mornings and evenings. We enjoyed the location, too, so walkable to the best cafes and restaurants. Most of all, our host, Zied, exceeded our expectations. He was exceptionally accommodating, helpful, and available throughout our stay—warm, personable, and deeply knowledgeable about the area. His care and attention made our time in Tozeur so enjoyable! We highly recommend booking one of his spaces.

The hosts were very friendly and polite. They made their best to accommodate me. I had a suite all for myself, so I could enjoy privacy and comfort. The place was very clean and neat. The location is perfect.

The host was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Rooms were nice and clean, the best linen and comfortable beds in Tunisia. Rooftop was nice, we enojoyed reading there. I would have wanted to stay longer in Dar Maya. I am really thankful for everything they had prepared.
