The place has everything you may need for a week or two in Hualien. It is nicely decorated, Internet is fast, location is good and the staff is quite helpful. I would definitely stay again when I come back to Hualien!

The location is near the Hualien station, so taking the bus and going to Taroko national park is super easy. The owner is helpful and friendly even though she couldn't speak much English. We enjoyed the room and facilities during our stay. Super clean and comfortable bed.

Very close to the station, inside the place feels lika a museum. You keep your shoes outside but get slippers which creates a home vibe. The kitchen is well equipped, there are free bikes outside. I was offered a free toothbrush since I had lost my cosmetics bag.

Lovely gardens and orchards, with mountain views. Very kind hosts who explained Taroko culture in excellent English. Generous breakfast with delicious coffee.

Centrally located in Hualien city, Cozy House Hostel offers youthful and modern accommodation conveniently within a 5-minute drive from Hualien Train Station. The host was lovely and had a very sweet cat. The house was quiet and all the other guests were kind and respectful! We arrived by bike and easily parked our bikes out front. The neighborhood is very cute and lively. We had a yummy Taiwanese dinner, walked to the giant bike store for a quick repair, and used a coin op laundry all within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
