Offering free bikes and city view, kaori B&B is set in Chishang, 200 metres from Chishang Station and 3.2 km from Mr. Brown Avenue. I stayed at Kaori B&B on 15th Oct 2025 for one night, in the Standard Double/Twin Room. Kaori B&B is one of the best hostels I have stayed in! The location was fantastic, 3min walk to the Chishang train station, next door to a supermarket, next door to Family Mart convenience store (24hr), 1min walk from the night market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and close to many restaurants and eating places. The room was very clean, quiet, and spacious. It was on the third floor and there was a lift. There were also many small things that showed the hostel was thinking about guests; such as a free minibar, free bicycles (which was useful to cycle to Dapo pond (5mins) and brown boulevard (20mins), free vouchers/discounts at selected partners such as restaurants and shops, slippers for the room, and a balcony with a washing machine and area to dry clothes. There was also a cooking stove and kitchen sink (which I did not use). The bed was also slightly firmer which was great! Had small issue when using the self-check in kiosk (scanner was not working), but gave the staff a call on the phone and they arrived within 2mins. Before arriving, the hostel sent an email with a code to enter the reception area (which is not always manned), and there is a sign in the reception area with information on how to contact the staff. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave tips on things to do and places to eat. While slightly more expensive than other alternatives in the area, it was worth every penny and perhaps more! Would definitely stay here again!

Situated in Luye and only 24 km from Taitung Night Market, Dream Field features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is an amazing Guesthouse. It’s very new, is in a stunning location that may be the best in Luye. The rooms are huge, the styling is lovely, and it’s like a full service apartment with everything you could possibly want. We were on the top floor, and the view from our room was serene and beautiful. The other thing that I loved is that the bed was huge, and after 1 month in Taiwan it was the only Guesthouse we’ve stayed in where the bed was long enough for my feet to not hang off the end the end of the bed (my height is 6 ft 2 in).

Located within 5.1 km of Taitung Night Market and 3.1 km of National Museum of Prehistory, Cong Sen Backpackers Hostel provides rooms in Taitung City. Very nice owner. He let me check in early. Very clean and comfortable. I departed early in the morning and he still made me breakfast-very nice! Even gave me fruit and an energy drink for my bike ride. Cheers!

Set within 5.9 km of Taitung Night Market and less than 1 km of Taitung, Taitung Ohana Sky Hostel offers rooms in Taitung City. I can’t describe how lovely the owners are. The hostel had a real family feel, you feel instantly at home. The owners walked me to a dinner spot as part of their evening walk which was really sweet and genuinely care about their guests. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, it was lovely to meet you.

David Samstrong Lite 小馬客棧 果園 in Chenggong provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Guests staying at this bed and breakfast have access to a patio. Very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop patio looking out over the fields. Only a short walk to a beautiful beach. excellent breakfast!

Small and cozy hostel. Jackson is the most helpful person ever, and he has clearly put a ton of effort and thought into making the most smoothly operating hostel I've ever visited. Free laundry. Alot foreign guests when I was there. Night markets were closed during my stay, which is sad, but be sure to check out the wet market at No. 263之1號, Zhengqi Rd in the morning (450 meters from the hostel) and the "dusk market" at No. 81-103 號, Hanyang N Rd in the evening.

Set in Donghe, 都蘭朋友家 Dulan Friends Hostel offers beachfront accommodation 700 metres from Qianqiao Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Such a warm and welcoming place! The owner is incredibly friendly and full of amazing recommendations. The common areas are so inviting—a rooftop with views of the mountains and sea, perfect for yoga or relaxing in the hammock. There’s also a lovely patio with a deck, hammock, and outdoor dining area that made me feel completely at home.
