I stayed at Kaori B&B on 15th Oct 2025 for one night, in the Standard Double/Twin Room. Kaori B&B is one of the best hostels I have stayed in! The location was fantastic, 3min walk to the Chishang train station, next door to a supermarket, next door to Family Mart convenience store (24hr), 1min walk from the night market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and close to many restaurants and eating places. The room was very clean, quiet, and spacious. It was on the third floor and there was a lift. There were also many small things that showed the hostel was thinking about guests; such as a free minibar, free bicycles (which was useful to cycle to Dapo pond (5mins) and brown boulevard (20mins), free vouchers/discounts at selected partners such as restaurants and shops, slippers for the room, and a balcony with a washing machine and area to dry clothes. There was also a cooking stove and kitchen sink (which I did not use). The bed was also slightly firmer which was great! Had small issue when using the self-check in kiosk (scanner was not working), but gave the staff a call on the phone and they arrived within 2mins. Before arriving, the hostel sent an email with a code to enter the reception area (which is not always manned), and there is a sign in the reception area with information on how to contact the staff. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave tips on things to do and places to eat. While slightly more expensive than other alternatives in the area, it was worth every penny and perhaps more! Would definitely stay here again!

It’s very new, is in a stunning location that may be the best in Luye. The rooms are huge, the styling is lovely, and it’s like a full service apartment with everything you could possibly want. We were on the top floor, and the view from our room was serene and beautiful. The other thing that I loved is that the bed was huge, and after 1 month in Taiwan it was the only Guesthouse we’ve stayed in where the bed was long enough for my feet to not hang off the end the end of the bed (my height is 6 ft 2 in).

Cong Sen Backpackers Hostel ligger i Taitung, bare 5,1 kilometer fra Taitung Night Market og 3,1 kilometer fra National Museum of Prehistory. Very nice owner. He let me check in early. Very clean and comfortable. I departed early in the morning and he still made me breakfast-very nice! Even gave me fruit and an energy drink for my bike ride. Cheers!

Taitung Ohana Sky Hostel ligger i Taitung, 5,9 kilometer fra Taitung Night Market og under 1 kilometer fra Taitung Station. I can’t describe how lovely the owners are. The hostel had a real family feel, you feel instantly at home. The owners walked me to a dinner spot as part of their evening walk which was really sweet and genuinely care about their guests. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, it was lovely to meet you.

Very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop patio looking out over the fields. Only a short walk to a beautiful beach. excellent breakfast!

Hostel Who Knows ligger i Taitung, med Seaside Park-stranden bare 1,9 kilometer unna. The staff was really helpful and welcoming. All facilities were clean and provided most amenities. The rooms were big enough, with curtains for privacy on each bunk bed. Location was also really practical and a lot of buses available. 100% recommend !

都蘭朋友家 Dulan Friends Hostel ligger i Donghe, nær stranden og bare 8 minutters gange fra Qianqiao-stranden. Such a warm and welcoming place! The owner is incredibly friendly and full of amazing recommendations. The common areas are so inviting—a rooftop with views of the mountains and sea, perfect for yoga or relaxing in the hammock. There’s also a lovely patio with a deck, hammock, and outdoor dining area that made me feel completely at home.
