It’s so important to have proper communication when travelling and I had that with Arthur (the owner). He was quick to respond and there to help anyway he could. He was kind enough to talk about the area and take me on a tour, which I enjoyed immensely. The tiny home has everything you need and is very comfortable. There’s clean drinking water, an equipped kitchen, an outdoor barbecue and other essentials (like a mini portable washer, beach towels and over the shoulder mini cooler) … the home’s very clean and comfortable and even the resident geckos are super friendly! I found they put a lot of thought into little details inside the cottage. The night sky is unbelievably beautiful and you also have an ocean view in a quiet and safe neighbourhood…I’m looking forward to coming back!

Kilauea House is set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, 45 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo, as well as 49 km from University Of Hawaii, Hilo. Perfect location for exploring the Volcano National Park. Beautiful room, very well equipped and the breakfast was exceptional. The hosts were very helpful and I would highly recommend this property.

Featuring sea views, Kona Magic Honu Room provides accommodation with patio, around 200 metres from White Sands Beach Park. The host was amazing! We arrived around 7:30 pm and were leaving early morning to catch a flight. The host still accommodated our laundry request (which was much needed prior to our next island hop). She provided us nearby restaurant recommendation which was perfect for our last night in Kona. The bed was very comfortable and everything was really clean! We got to play with the host’s cat as well. Highly recommend!
