It’s so important to have proper communication when travelling and I had that with Arthur (the owner). He was quick to respond and there to help anyway he could. He was kind enough to talk about the area and take me on a tour, which I enjoyed immensely. The tiny home has everything you need and is very comfortable. There’s clean drinking water, an equipped kitchen, an outdoor barbecue and other essentials (like a mini portable washer, beach towels and over the shoulder mini cooler) … the home’s very clean and comfortable and even the resident geckos are super friendly! I found they put a lot of thought into little details inside the cottage. The night sky is unbelievably beautiful and you also have an ocean view in a quiet and safe neighbourhood…I’m looking forward to coming back!

I really enjoy the privacy and the comforts of the room. It is a nice getaway from home, peaceful and serene. I also like the open kitchen and patio area.

Very comfortable room, good location and amazing breakfast! I am gluten intolerant and was given a filling, tasty breakfast with lovely fresh fruit!

Kilauea House is set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, 45 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo, as well as 49 km from University Of Hawaii, Hilo. We just spent two weeks in Hawaii, and out of the 6 accommodations, ranging from 5-star hotels to Airbnbs, this was our favorite by a country mile. Would stay again in a heartbeat and can't recommend the place enough.

Featuring sea views, Kona Magic Honu Room provides accommodation with patio, around 200 metres from White Sands Beach Park. The host was amazing! We arrived around 7:30 pm and were leaving early morning to catch a flight. The host still accommodated our laundry request (which was much needed prior to our next island hop). She provided us nearby restaurant recommendation which was perfect for our last night in Kona. The bed was very comfortable and everything was really clean! We got to play with the host’s cat as well. Highly recommend!
