Location was amazing, quiet neighborhood, beautiful views of the Drakensbergs. The cottage was a perfect size for our family. It had everything we needed and beyond. My kids loved the stuff animals and having their own beds. We loved the fireplace! Helped to keep us warm on the cold evenings.

Lolambazo Country House & Cottage - Giants Castle Drakensberg has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Mahlutshini, 41 km from Drakensberg Reserve. Beautiful and peaceful location just outside Giant's Castle reserve. Billy the host went out of his way to accommodate us with a request we had. The unit well equipped and had everything we needed, including firewood for our braai, which was a nice extra.

Boasting mountain views, Kezlyn Farm Cottages offers accommodation with patio, around 31 km from Winterton Museum. The cottage was great and views spectacular. Kiri was very helpful, even supplying me a bird list of the property.

Boasting an infinity pool and views of lake, Sasi Africa Luxury Tented Bush Lodge is a recently renovated luxury tent set in Bergville, 34 km from Kaalvoet Vrou Statue. I loved just sitting on my deck of my glamping tent and listen to the wind in the trees and the birds. Tents were very comfortable, good bed, beautiful bathroom and I woke up on a cold morning where I made a fire and took a warm bath, a relaxing place to be. Staff is very kind. There’s one gamedrive per day included where nature is beautiful, there are no elephants but this means beautiful trees. You can book a drive to see rock art of earlier people. Food is very good, creative with great combinations of tastes and spices. We were sad to leave.
