Our stay at Chalet Sonnblick was delightful. The property is excellently located, a very short walk from the ski lifts, restaurants and the main parking of Stuben. The apartment is very spacious, has a large dining room for big groups, a very cosy living room and the rooms have individual bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a big group needs for having breakfast and cooking dinner. Stefan and Angelika were exceptional hosts, sent us all valuable information in advance, gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the property. The overall experience was great and I can definitely say that if we visit the area again we'll make sure to stay there again.

So, let's describe all the benefits. First of all, the online check-in process. It saves time upon your arrival; since we traveled by car and arrived late, the final check-in at the reception was quick. Initially, we scheduled a smaller room. However, we had upgrades and got a suite for the same price, which happened the first time in my life, and I travel a lot! Thanks for that bonus! It was my first skiing vacation, and we decided to spend extra to ensure that nothing could spoil this vacation. The room itself had all as described. However, we recommend adding bathrobes. We had a big hope to wrap ourselves in warm bathrobes after the sauna and out to the balcony to enjoy the evening. However, it never happened. The breakfasts were awesome. Although they did not have a hot breakfast, upon request, they added scrambles. They delivered breakfast to the room, which was very convenient since the canteen is located in another building and is quite far away, within fifteen minutes' walking distance. The room was super clean. The cleaner came every day, which was not even required. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the weather. The mountain view is fabulous. Even at night, since we were lucky to come at full moon (in the photo, it is the moon and sunrise simultaneously - amazing!). The staff at the reception is super friendly and always available. breakfast was nice, Sauna was fantastic, just the touch buttons to start your shower were a bit overwhelming technology, not always working. Place was like new. Room was great being cleaned every day, with facilities like bottles water and coffee machine. Skis were stored in the cellar, with facilities to dry the skiboots.
