Ski Resorts in Matten

Quiet and peaceful and nice location

Scandinavian Food and living in the same vibe experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this property! The place is fully furnished and well-equipped with everything you need — oven, fridge, washing machine, iron, vacuum, and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking essentials, which made preparing meals super easy and convenient. The location was perfect, close to all major amenities and very convenient. The area felt safe and well-connected. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

Near from bus stop, good Ambience and Well maintained with best view

Fantastic view. One of the best I have ever seen.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was very clean and well-maintained. The parking spot was big enough even for a large car, which was very convenient. The host was friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions we had.

Views from the property are very beautiful, you can enjoy them from the balcony. The house is very clean and comfortable. The train station is 12 minutes away from the property (walking) with frequent trains connecting to the main locations / attractions.

The location is stunning! And it was such a comfortable and clean place to stay. We loved the large deck and the hiking in the area. Peter is a terrific host. We really enjoyed all the lovely landscaping around the house.

It's a beautiful property and owners were kind

Awesome view from the bedroom window. Good location and beautiful surrounding area.

Everything. The sauna. The two floors. The rusticity.

To say that the place is perfect would be an understatement. Friendly hosts, modernly equipped apartments with everything you might need. I don’t like narrow mountain roads, but here it was just a short stretch with good parking. And the view from the apartments and the terrace takes your breath away. Two minutes to the train stop, which will take you to Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen (with an easy transfer). Or you can drive to these towns in just a few minutes.

Wengen is a beautiful and peaceful town. The aparment was spacious and had all the neccessities to accommodate a big group. The support from Wengen Aparments team was also super helpful and made us feel welcomed. We had a great time staying here.

The communication from the host was excellent. The house was spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the grill and the deck. The location was a short drive to Grindelwald.

location, near train stations. we were provided with free coffee, tea and sparking water.

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely beautiful, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and the views were amazing. Everything was exactly as described, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The host was also very kind. We honestly couldn’t find anything to complain about . Everything was perfect from start to finish. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful and perfect location in the valley. The family was so nice and even allowed us to buy milk or cheese from them (cow farm). Right next to the train station

Location and everything was very clean as it should be

It was one of the best views ever from a room I stayed in. Wengen is amazing and Hotel Alpenruhen's location is excellent. You can see the entire Lauterbrunnen valley below. Hotel is 12 mins of train ride from Lauterbrunen and then a 7-8 min slight uphill walk from Wengen train station. They pick you up and drop you off at check in and check out which is very nice. The room is spacious, modern and luxurious. Breakfast area is comfortable and food was delicious.

Best location, excellent food (breakfast and dinner), and mostly friendly and supportive staff. Highly highly recommended for the Alps area.

We loved our week here. Great family room. Beautiful views. Fabulous pool. Great service and breakfast.

I loved having a balcony and overlooking the mountain.

The location was awesome. We were just across the street from the gondola and the ski shop to rent skis was just next door. These was the most convienent access to skiing we've ever experienced. The rooms were aweseome and the staff was great. We didn't select the this hotel for the spa amenities but they turned out to be a great addition to our stay. We hit the Sauna almost every night and went to the pool a couple times over. They have great facilities here and the pictures don't do it justice. One evening we could watc the the sun set over the mountians from the pool. It was awesom.

Breakfast was amazing! I asked for rooms with balconies for the best views and if possible close together, but the balcony/view was number one priority. The resort delivered! The views from both balconies were absolutely amazing!!

The view from our rooms was amazing! We overlooked the village, and we were a short walk from the train station and the gondola lift station to Mannlichen. Location was perfect! The rooms were comfortable and large with plenty of space. Delicious daily breakfast and we stayed in for dinner one evening and enjoyed that as well.
