Smučarska letovišča v mestu Randa

Randa is close to Zermatt. Both are in Switzerland... I understand everything, and that is the only reason they can offer apartments and accommodations in general at such a price. You almost need a university degree before you even find the place. The surroundings of the building/house are messy. You drive up a driveway covered in gravel, like the stones you see under railway tracks. When you enter the building, you are greeted by a latch door straight out of the 19th century. The last time I saw something like that was on a shed back when I was a child and my parents had a utility shack for a wheelbarrow, cement, shovels... somewhere between 1990 and 1993, during the construction of our house. There is no contact with the hosts. A lockbox on the wall awaits you, the likes of which I have never seen in my 42 years, so I didn't immediately know how to get the key. Yeah, Switzerland... unfortunately, back home in Slovenia, I have a TapKey digital lock, a three-point locking door, plus an additional digital keypad for entry. Seriously, it was my first time seeing this kind of mechanism. The apartment itself, once you step inside... nothing special. IKEA furniture. The toilet bowl is miniature – meant for children. Basically, it is a partially renovated, very old building. It has wooden ceilings, so you can hear the other guests walking above you. The windows are so old that I haven't seen anything like them even on my grandparents' house, which was built in 1962. So, are the windows from the 1940s–1960s??!! The bedroom window looks out onto the neighboring plot where a new building is being constructed, so the view was of a construction site and we kept the curtains drawn the entire time. The fact is, the entire place, as an apartment, is very basic.

Super lokacija, blizu železniške postaje do Zermatta. Apartma je bil ravno dovolj velik za dva odrasla, otroka in psa. Dodatni plusi: podzemna garaža, wellnes, dovoljene živali, prijazno osebje in pa razgled. Super oddih, se še vrnemo.

Lepote Švice. Ampak Slovenija jo prekaša.

Zelo prijetna nastanitev.Ravno prav odmaknjena od centra mesta, tako da je bilo res tiho in mirno.Apartma dobro opremljen,da se počutiš kot bi bil doma.Gostitelj zelo prijazen.
