The view from my room — especially from the balcony — was absolutely breathtaking. I often just sat there in silence, taking it all in. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. It felt cozy and welcoming, but still elegant. Traveling alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely at ease. The staff were genuinely kind — always helpful, never intrusive — and made me feel like more than just a guest. Every morning started with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the lake, and every evening ended with a sunset that looked like something from a painting. I spent my days swimming, walking along the shore, hiking nearby trails, and simply enjoying the stillness. This place gave me exactly what I needed: space to breathe, think, and just be. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you — the kind that changes you a little. If you're considering a solo trip and need beauty, serenity, and a true escape — look no further. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Stadtvilla Schladming Boutiquehotel is set in a quiet side street in the centre of Schladming. There is an on-site spa area with a sauna, infrared cabin and a relaxation lounge. Very nice hotel, staff extremely helpful and observant. Super location in Schladming, easy walking distance to most/ all things. Breakfast was excellent.

This 4-star-superior hotel in the centre of Schladming, just 450 metres from the Planai Cable Car, offers a 1,500 m² spa area, a restaurant, and free WiFi. Everything was beautiful and very clean. We really appreciated the amazing and diverse breakfast buffet, kind staff, live music in the bar and amazing spa.

IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn is a family run hotel, situated on an elevation in the Ennstal valley in Styria, at the foot of the Grimming mountain massif. Everything was perfect! The view, the room, the spa, the food and everyone there.

Easy entry, great location close to the slopes. Its a comfy apartment equipped with bath tub. We enjoyed our short stay here and we deffinetly would come back again.

Breakfast was excellent. The variety of food was good. The possibility of ordering cooked eggs with accompaniments in a variety of forms was an unexpected bonus.

Wülde Hoamat has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Eisenerz, 38 km from Admont Abbey. Great place, the location is also amazing - beautiful view of the mountains and fog on them. I walked to the beautiful lake nearby to swim. That was an amazing stay. The kitchen was super clean and very cosy living room. So happy we chose this place for our stay!

Located just 45 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen, BASECAMP Reiteralm provides accommodation in Schladming with access to a fitness centre, free bikes, as well as a lift. A sauna is available for guests. It was very close to the skiing area which we really liked. We also enjoyed the possibility to store or skis, snowboards and boots.

Featuring garden views, Ferienhäuschen in Mariahof offers accommodation with a garden, around 35 km from Planetarium Judenburg. It was very cozy, warm, with everything you need.
