This is our second time using Semiramida Gardens. This time using their other apartment. All is as shown on the images. Great value for the money we pay. This review is done in summer times, so no idea on winter how things would be. It was super kind of the owner to prepare some crayons and drawing boards for our kid. there is a near by kids playground.

It is the second time we stayed here and we consider it our "home" for when we come to Borovets. Affordable price, cozy and warm atmosphere, a full mini apartment attic just like the photos! It is a equipped with everything you might need and even more, toaster, boiler, even an eggs cooker, tea, sugar, salt..(the only thing missing was some coffee although there eas a coffee machine). The location is also nice, just 15 minutes from Borovets, in the city of samokov, and there is free parking just below the apartment. Generally a very good experience!

This place is an absolute gem. Our host George has been exceptional so far. He assisted us with directions before we arrived and met us with a smile to show us around the room and small spa facility which looks lovely, complete with jacuzzi, sauna, bathroom facilities and optional music. George also helped us out with ski hire from the shop next door, they provided a good price compared to other tourist trap ski hire shops. I would recommend not booking ski hire, etc online and speaking to your host at the apartments instead. He advised that we get the rechargeable ski pass which works out cheaper if you're here for a bit longer. He also gave us reccomendations for food and drink nearby and told us where to avoid. The room itself is lovely, massive windows let in loads of natural light. Comfortable bed. There's also a nice shared balcony overlooking the ski slopes, which brings me on to my next point. The location could not be any better, right across the road from the ski slopes with the ski hire shop right next door and countless food and drink spots within a stone's throw. There seem to be some negative reviews linked to the Google page for White Horse Apartments which are actually for a white horse restaurant which isn't operating anymore. Don't let it deter you. George was also telling us about the plans to further improve the amenities for the accommodation. I won't share the details but it will definitely be worth checking out. We've barely started our holiday here but already we know that we'll be back at some point. Edit after check out: tried to leave a tip for George's mum who cleans the rooms because we can be a bit messy and when we went to collect our bags I found the tip lying on top of the bags. Went to give it to George and they refused to accept it. If that doesn't say something then I don't know what does.
