Cozy, warm, spacious, clean, perfect for a family of 4. It had complete amenities that we all needed. We cooked for 2 nights and we enjoyed the experience of cooking in the apartment. The property had a small vineyard and we were able to try Martin’s red wine. Best is the warm accommodation we felt from Daniela who picked us up from the train station and brought us back on our way to our next destination. We also liked that the property was very near a church.

Christian is an amazing host. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The apartment is equipped very well and there are also some stylish design and Antique furniture items. The bed and bedding is very comfortable and Christian even has different pillows on request to choose from. The location is very good. Close to the main pedestrian street in the old town and importantly to an excellent cheese shop 😉 Thanks to the free Gästekarte we could take public transport for free and there are two bus lines running from the train station to the apartment (Bus stop is called „Wey“). Excellent if you have a lot of luggage.

Every element of our stay at Donat and Lina's Welness Alpengarten has been simply amazing! Located in a beautiful region, close to highlights such as Lucerne and Mount Pilatus, but remote enough to enjoy the serene Swiss nature. We were received very well by our hosts, explaining every detail of the facilities, while also providing tips and guidance on activities in the area. Breakfast was served royally, which could be consumed in the beautiful garden. The retreat itself is equipped with everything one could wish for, and recharge completely by enjoying the multiple private wellness facilities. We would love to come back here once more, and enjoy another Indonesian Nasi Goreng in the peaceful Swiss mountains!

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Abendrot! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed — from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and a lovely balcony with stunning mountain views. The location couldn’t be better: quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the cable car. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and very responsive, making check-in and communication effortless. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches and the sense of care throughout the property. Sörenberg itself is a true gem — beautiful hiking trails, breathtaking scenery, and plenty to do in every season. Abendrot was the perfect home base for exploring it all. We’d happily come back and can highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic Swiss getaway!
