Felt like we were staying with a friend. She went above and beyond for recommendations for us. Assisted us with laundry, and provided a wonderful breakfast every morning. The location was absolutely perfect. Quiet, right by the train, and close to surrounding activities and restaurants.

Emma's Hotel - Bed & Breakfast features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Lungern, 1.4 km from Lungern-Turren-Bahn. Location is super good, just outside of the train station. As a solo traveler, the room is really spacious enough. The breakfast is delicately arranged and guests can enjoy the meal in a very well-decorated restaurant.

In Sarnen, 2 km from the Sarnensee Lake, the self-catered Apartments Chalet Wirz Travel offers an air-conditioned apartment with free WiFi and free private parking on site. Our kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of yummy food! And we had fresh bread and doughnuts delivered to our doorstep every morning! Our host gave us such valuable information about the history of Sarnen, which led us find the home of our great grandparents homestead!

(Summer holiday). Great place in the mountains for hiking and resting near the lakes. Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.
