From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. Staffs are very friendly and provides excellent service. The place is amazing. Just need a little bit of walking to reach the carriage and buses which can take you to the castles. Overall experience is wonderful. Recommendable and surely to visit again.

The Hotel Zugspitze's spacious rooms feature a modern en suite bathroom, Alpine-style furnishings, comfortable beds and free high-speed internet access. I went to this hotel with my partner for our (mid) 3 year anniversary and we loved every moment of it: -Location was absolutely perfect! A traditional small german town, so there's a lot of great food but if you get tired of the Bavarian flavor, then there is an asian restaurant and an Indian one. -The hotel is a walking distance from everything; a grocery store, a pharmacy, souvenir shops..etc -Staff were AMAZING: I appreciated that even though we had to leave our booking 1 day earlier than planned, the amazing man at the reception gave us a 40 Euro discount! -Super super quiet at night. This is amazing considering if you live in a big city, you know how annoying the street sounds can be! (so amazing sleep, super comfortable and cozy). -There was parking for our rental car indoors which made it so much easier than finding parking by the hotel. -Breakfast was sooo nice! We had it every day when we were there when we usually don't care too much for it! (those german sausages!! YUM!) Overall such a wonderful experience. Would 100% stay again!

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. We arrived the hotel latterly and tired. The homeowner treated us delicious cake and made us refresh. The breakers is perfect.

I like Bad Reichenhall, It is a very cozy and picturesque place. Even if there weren't so many tourists oriented points around, I'd be getting pleasure just walking through this town. I like the Avalon hotel: its kind stuff, its cozy cafe on the ground floor, its warm atmosphere, and many, many other small things that leave a very pleasant impression. I'd especially express my thanks for disconnecting the rain detector from the marquis management system. This year, I had a chance to have a cigarette looking at the beautiful mountain view sitting on the balcony while it was raining..
