Set in Lam, 23 km from Drachenhöhle Museum, zeitlang by Rösslwirt offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I went to Zeitlang with my mum for a couple of days to relax and explore the Bavarian Forest. The place is even better looking than in the photos. We also upgraded to a suite, so we had a double bed and a sofa bed (also double), fully equipped kitchen, 2 TVs, a nice balcony. The breakfast buffet was great - everything fresh and staff were very attentive to refill anything immediately. The little spa area was very modern, clean and relaxing. The town Lam itself has a couple of restaurants to choose from - we always went to Roesslwirt across the street, where you could get Bavarian food, as well as more modern food (including veggie options). It's beneficial to have a care when going there, as we took day trips around the area from Lam to see local sights, e.g. the dragon in Furth im Wald, etc. 10/10 recommend this place.

Situated in Bayerisch Eisenstein and only 47 km from Drachenhöhle Museum, Haus Kraus features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Apartment was clean and comfortable with all facilities required for a short stay. Good communications with the owner. Location is great. 10 minutes walk to the train station and 2 minutes to the rail Museum. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Haus Kraus.

Very clean and stylish accommodation. Location central within Bodenmais - everything can be reached within short walking distance.

Situated in Lam, 25 km from Drachenhöhle Museum, Gästehaus Kuchler features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Everything was perfect!! Amazing hospitality and very warm and friendly host. The breakfast was 10/10 with many home made jams and marmalades. Our host Frau Kuchler was extremely helpful and welcoming and helped us with tips and suggestions. The Guest House itself is located in a beautiful peaceful location amidst nature and recently renovated. We visited in winter to celebrate our anniversary and for the winter activities around Lam. We will come back again in Summer!

Finally, I can't forget to mention the incredible view from my room. It was simply breathtaking, and it really added to the overall experience of my stay. Set in Neuschönau, 48 km from Cathedral Passau, Naturhotel & Chalets Euler offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Beautiful gem in the middle of a bavarian forest. Perfect service, helpful and very nice staff, great beds and top wellness with an outdoor terrace and the possibility of sunbathing and swimming. We would love to come back here!

The rooms are spacious, the WiFi was perfect and the view from our terrace was breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We shall definitely stay here again.
